I know this vendor personally and I know he goes above and beyond to make sure only the best kava is sold. This particular cultivar is my favorite. Kava from the Santa Cruz Islands of the Solomon Islands is renowned for its superior quality and potency, a result of the region's rich volcanic soil, which makes for a strong but smooth grog. Medium grind is ALWAYS best, when paired with a 75 micron strainer. For beginners; This kava will make you feel sleepy, it is not good for daytime unless you have nothing to do, than it is lovely! Knead 1/4-2/3 of cup with 500-700 ml of cool filtered water, massage the bag inside a medium size bowl, squeeze and knead for 5 minutes, wring one final time to get all the water out. Pour into a 4-6 ounce cup and drink quickly 20 minutes apart if the taste is off-putting or use a larger vessel and sip it throughout the night.

I did not use a strainer bag at all, instead I dissolved it in water straight up and chugged it with my nose plugged. Even with my nose closed, the extremely strong taste made me gag a little bit and almost throw up, so HIGHLY recommend having a chaser nearby and plugging your nose whenever consuming this, along with properly using a strainer bag. I had to take ~40g REALLY feel it, but it wasn’t anything horrible enough to make me wanna never do it again. I experienced intense relaxation and tiredness behind my eyes, almost as if I was stone🪨d. This is my first time with any sort of kava root, and I can say with confidence this is probably one of my favorite if not my favorite “supplement” you can buy on amazon. I was using kratom wayyy too much and this has helped my cravings for that and other opioids, which is VERY surprising. 10/10, would recommend to a friend. By the way the “good mood” kava drink packets don’t do ANYTHING, if you’re into extracts/drink mixes then make sure you look at the reviews before ordering from amazon/smoke shop:)

Oh my goodness but this has a foul smell and after taste. Didn’t realize on initial purpose that you need some sort of cheese cloth or something to make the drink… so had to purchase that separately. It comes as a powder which you must soak in water before drinking the water. It tastes like dirt and left us with absolutely no relaxing after effect except a sizzle on the tongue. It tastes absolutely disguising. Really not worth any money spent.

An avid kava consumer approves! I frequently enjoy kava and this is a great option. I find calmness and ease when enjoying this type and its a great value for the price.

This is my favorite Kava so far. Very tingly and strong relaxing effect. I only take this if I want to sleep, it does a great job at that.

Strong, heavy brew. Only for evening and night time. Quality kava. I definitely only recommend traditional prep with a strainer bag if you want to feel it

Why did you pick this product vs others?: IT Tastes terrible, but with the right mix it’s tolerable. It does work makes you a bit buzzed, it’s short lived but it’s better than the alternative.
