Artist Oil Pastels Set of 24 (Regular)

I don't think there is any other brand of oil pastels in India that offer such a great quality, pigment and ease of use for such a reasonable price!! If you're looking for good oil pastels, just close your eyes and buy them. The blend like butter, easy to use, a good variety of colours, highly pigmented and layerable on each other. The best part? They don't change their colour after a coat of varnish. Absolute favourite!!

Colour Selection is really awesome, and a Diverse range of Pastels shades are also available.🥰 And its Comes in Box which does a great job of organizing , Transporting and Protecting the Oil Pastels. 🤩 Can be Easily blends with Fingers ,Blending tools like tissue paper, Ear buds ...Pastels r smooth and Buttery, gives Smooth velvet Finish. The colours are really Bright , Highly Pigmented, Rich and Vivid. I also tried mixing. It blends well and You can do layering up to more than 6 Shades easily. I have the lovely mungyo gallery 48 set so I couldn't help comparing the brustro set with those adorable colors and here are my thoughts: Pros: 1. Impeccable packaging. I absolutely love the way these babies are packed and this stunning artwork on the cover. 2. Very, very creamy and buttery. Very similar to mungyo gallery in this respect. 3. I am enchanted by the earth tones present in this set, which is the primary reason I bought it. 4. Blends like a dream. These pastels are softer than mungyo gallery ones so they actually blend better. 5. Layers well too, but not as well as the gallery ones 6. The white is much more opaque than the gallery. It is really easy to give highlights with the white here. 7. Despite the drawbacks, they are still a great deal for the price. Cons: 1. It has a gasoline like smell which is quite unsettling. The smell is kinda strong, so it's difficult to ignore it. May be artists who are used to the smell of turpentine will not find this a problem 2. The flourescent colors, although lovely, are a little streaky. On blending, they do turn a little patchy. If blended with fingers and tissue, most of the pigment comes off, leaving behind a dull erased stain of color. 3. The gold and silver are extremely streaky and patchy. They don't really inpire me to create anything with them. Their blending ability is still worse than the flourescent colors. 4. The way to effectively work with the neon colors is to apply some pressure while applying the stick so that it releases some chunks of pigment, which can then be evenly rubbed into the paper. That's when the colors look amazing. I've used this technique on the gray paper. BUT THEY DO NOT LAYER WELL. My personal opinion is that, despite the drawbacks, they still are a wonderful set and worth trying out. However, I would prefer shelling out a few hundred bucks more to get the gallery 48 set because the colors there are much more practical and all the colors are very consistent.

This set of 48 oil pastels is a powerhouse of waxy creamy vibrance which you cannot stop sampling once u lay ur hands on it! The set contains not just the usual rich hues Brustro is famous for curating but also neons and gold n silver! Not to forget. The far sightedness to include two whites in the set instead of the usually inadequate one. Coming to the application aspect, these sticks literally over perform. Be it, the minutest quantity being lost from the stick with each richly pigmented application, or the number of layers these pastels allow effortlessly. Yes, I've literally applied 4 to 5 layers on 100 gsm sheets!! I've tried various brands n this feat by brustro is unmatched. Of course another amazing factor is the self blending of many colors with simple overlays. Apart from that they blend smoothly with moderate finger smudging as well as with simplest of blending tools like ear buds as well as mineral spirits. The names of the colors are super tempting and the hues do justice to the rich nomenclature Another advantage of these pastels is that they do not have any strong odours and come off the fingers very easily. They are also super easy to clelan n good as new in no time. The cost factor is unbelievably in favor.. so grab urs right away!
