The build is complicated by instructions for two different variants. Make sure you follow the instructions for the variant V1 or V2 indicated by a green dot on the component bags (V2 has green dot). You need to visit the website, and download the build details, also the circuit diagram is a great help, if you can read it. If you take your time you will end up with a good working clock. If you have never built electronics or soldered before this kit of parts could be quite daunting. However once assembled you will have a unique timepiece with an air setting system (no switches), you mearly move your hand above an infra red beam to select menues and set the time and date thus. It can take a bit of practice to get the clock to the right time.
