Magical with a little assembly and great value
Wow these are some stunning lamp shades. I made the large orb and assembly had a slight learning curve but it's pretty straight forward and kinda fun. It is seriously beautiful though. Such even and warm light dispersion even at the brightest setting. You can run 100W bulbs in this safely, as long as they're LEDs that don't get hot. You definitely would not want to run a high wattage incandescent. Figuring out a way to hang the shade level without the bulb touching the plastic was another DIY aspect of this that is a little finicky. But again. So worth it. So beautiful. And cheap!

Really like them
First thing, the directions suck to use. They don't show appropriate pictures on how the pieces lay and putting together in general using the directions were difficult. I eventually found a video on youtube, slowed it down and managed to get the first of 3 together in about 15 minutes. There is no opening for a bulb so you'll have to redo an area when you put the bulb in, but it's not a big deal. The second one took me about 10 minutes and the third one about 5 minutes. I didn't need the video for the 3rd one and only used it for a few parts on the 2nd one. They are very pretty. A little feminine for my boys rooms but they are unique enough where they actually liked them. I actually really like them! Wish the directions were better but c'est la vie. Would recommend as they are a pretty interesting piece and can bring inexpensive character to dull ceilings ☺️

Makes a stunning geometric hanging lampshade from 30 identical pieces
I used this to make a great conversation-piece white hanging lamp shade. The provided instruction sheet didn't do it for me. I look for how to videos for "puzzle light 30 pieces" and found a clear guide that takes you through from start to finish. This item consists of 30 identical pieces of translucent white plastic that you can assemble into a 16" spherical shade. To make it a lamp, you need add a cord kit that includes a common light socket on a cord with a switch in the middle and a common power plug for the wall outlet. You might want to buy one with a dimmer. You'll want to use an LED type bulb to avoid putting out too much heat that might soften the plastic. With a 100W equivalent LED bulb that draws about 15 W, it makes a very bright area light, so you might want to use a smaller bulb or use a dimmer. For an intriguing show you could put in a color-changing LED bulb that would look very cool but would not provide much illumination.

Easy Peasy
I put this together in about 20 minutes sitting at the kitchen table. Once I figured out what I was doing, it went together really easily. The instructions could have been a bit more detailed (bigger pictures might have helped, honestly) but it was truly no big deal. I had to buy a second one when my son saw me putting together the first, and I may have to buy a third just to tinker with the different shapes.

I have spent the last 90 minutes trying to assemble this thing. I may throw it out. Good riddance!
This is a rant. Let' get that out of the way.I have repaired/assembled/installed just about everything you can think of in our house at this point. Furniture? Check! Sinks? Check! Toilets? Check! Light fixtures? Check! Cabinets? Check! etc etc etc etc.But this thing is beating me.The instructions are not helpful. Some reviews suggested watching someone else assemble one at 25% speed. I have tried various videos and so far am still struggling. I am I think halfway done, but have no idea how accurate that belief is. My version appears to be slightly lopsided compared to what's on the screen. But is it? I have no idea! I wish I never ordered it. I may in the end throw the pieces out and just get something simple.Granted it looks nice. But assembly is definitely not worth the hassle. And once it is fully assembled, you are supposed to slightly disassemble it to get the light bulb in there? You think I am looking forward to that right now? This is a classic example of a company with what appears to be a decent product spending little to no money on good documentation/instructions. I bought another product recently with similar complexity. But the company recorded a number of videos where employees assembled the product. And the instructions were detailed (12 pages long). I ran into a few spots that gave me trouble but the videos where clear on what to do at each point. If you love puzzles and have a couple hours to spare, go ahead, otherwise, don't buy it.Update: I eventually got it together after finding a different video and watching that at half speed. That let me assemble it. However, the top has to remain slightly open to permit the light bulb to slide in. That keeps going open a little, the shade slides down a little, repeat, until the bulb slides out of the shade.I hope it doesn't come as a surprise that I would NOT recommend this thing.

Looks Nice Once It’s Assembled, But the Instructions Are Terrible
I’m giving this lampshade three stars solely because it looks nice once it’s finally put together. However, the assembly process was a nightmare. The included instructions were unclear, confusing, and not helpful at all. What should have been a quick DIY project turned into over three hours of frustration—and I’m still not totally sure I assembled it correctly. I ended up having to search for a YouTube tutorial just to figure out what I was supposed to do.This product is not beginner-friendly and definitely not worth the hassle, no matter how nice it looks in the end. I wouldn’t purchase this again, and I can’t recommend it to others. If you’re not extremely patient or experienced with 3D puzzle-type builds, I’d say skip.

Beautiful light
Wonderful... if you can manage to put it together! More tedious than anything really.
