I love Crystal cat liter because it lasts way longer than the clay. It’s easier to scoop the poop up & mix up the areas of urine. My cats seem to like it too. It still does get tracked outside the litter box which drives me crazy when I step onto it “crunch, crunch, crunch. It is more expensive than your clay liter but due to it lasting longer, you’re not really losing a lot of liter when you’re cleaning the liter box out it’s well worth the price. It can get a little dusty when I’m cleaning the liter box whether I’m scooping the poop out or mixing around the urine areas but not as much as clay liter does. I also use cat box deodorizers with this liter, the powder stuff & spray which helps keep the liter box odors down. This product is definitely well worth the cost.

These crystals work wonders they don't track through the house and they keep the odoors at bay and last a week before I need to do any scooping they worked a lot better than all the name brand litters at the store and there priced very comfortable as well

I run a household of 5 cats; we have been through the trials and tribulations of nearly every kind of litter you can buy. This crystal litter has consistently been the best in both pricing AND longevity. Minimal tracking outside of the box compared to other brands and is an easy clean up that clumps well. I have tried both the lavender scented and the non scented, my cats prefer the non scented.

The scent was very nice, I did find it rather rough on the paws, large hard pieces. My elderly cat pees a lot, so it was not practical for him, we went through it so fast. Switched over to another kind for him.

This is hands down the best crystal litter I've tried. I have two cats and one of my boys has severe allergies and respiratory issues. He can only eat rabbit and he's allergic to clay, walnut and wood litter. Crystals work, BUT the dust is insane. I have tried at least 5 different crystal litters. They are so dusty and the smell is overpowering. He would go into these sneezing attacks with every litter I tried. THIS litter is the BEST. If your cat has respiratory issues, try this litter.

This crystal litter is a bit of a mixed bag for me. On the positive side, it does a decent job at controlling odor at first. It smells relatively fresh right out of the bag, and compared to some traditional litters, it seems to keep solid waste (poop) odor down better than usual, which I appreciated. That said, my cat is not a fan of it at all. I had to start mixing it with regular clumping litter just to get her to use the box consistently. The texture seems to be the issue—she’s much more comfortable with a finer, sand-like litter, so this was a bit of an adjustment that never fully stuck. Performance-wise, it’s hit or miss. It absorbs urine initially, but once it gets fully saturated, the smell can linger and actually become pretty strong for a while before it dries out again. That kind of defeats the purpose if you’re expecting consistent odor control. I also ran into an issue with my automatic litter box where the crystals got stuck briefly and disrupted the cycle. I had to completely empty it, clean everything out, and restart, which was frustrating and time-consuming. It works better once everything is reset, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re using an auto system. Overall, it has some good qualities—especially for solid waste odor—but between my cat not liking it, the urine smell once saturated, and the hiccup with the automatic box, I can’t fully commit to it. Mixing it with clumping litter has been the only way to make it work in my household.

I'm so happy I found this. I've been a crystal litter user for a long time but was looking for a good brand! I decided to try this and love it! It's darker in color (deep purple) which may not seem like a big deal but it helps the box look cleaner as the messes blend in compared to a white litter. It also have slight pleasant scent that isn't over powering. It seems to be lasting longer than other crystal litters that I have tried. The price is a great value. I now have this in auto ship.

Not a big fan. It doesn't have a smell which is why it doesn't have a one star - but my cat loves to drink water since I've bought her a water fountain which means she urinates more often. This is too chunky to absorb water. If the sizing were smaller - it would be great because honestly I really liked the fact that it didn't smell too much.

I stretched a bag to 120 uses by mixing the stuff after a week or two. Cats don't use it if it has some central spot. Also around 80 uses carefully expose the dirt under the top and scoop it out. Not your thing I would imagine since the whole point is to not do that. Still, I always give kitty a fresh new bag when we go on a two week trip or something. Kitty is the boss for two weeks and you don't argue with that. I also built a frame to keep the change bag on the bottom so the rake won't tear the bag. Still use the original cardboard tray and it still is new after about 3 changes and 6 months. Kitty will run and watch it work. She needs a hobby too. UPDATE: I don't know if the crystals have been downgraded for quality but now after 30 uses the crystals need to be mixed or my cat won't poop in it rather some corner. Don't blame her as it seems to not absorb as much as before. Now it seems to max out to 60 -70 uses and mixing is necessary everyday. What changed guys? My 1st review was 2024 and a year later it seems not as high quality.
