This is a car cover that is ideal for winter use, the version tested is made for larger saloons.First impressions might are that it is very big, and surprisingly light weight!The fabric is black on the exterior with a multi layer construction to give durability and rip proof qualities ending with a thin cotton fleece / scrim that lays on the body of the car to make it so it wont scratch it.Being a solid black colour this is the perfect winter alternative to the silver cover we use in the summer.This cover has a zip on the side so I can get into it and start it periodically in the winter without having to remove the cover, which makes this a much easier job than with the silver cover that doesn't.It is not easy to work out which way round it is until you find the pockets that the door mirrors fit into!We have a large Citroen saloon that is only used to pull our touring caravan and go for journeys that are two long or complicated for either of our daily drivers (Both BEV's).The Citroen is quite old but has not covered many miles and we want it to last as long as possible so we endeavour keep it covered when not in use.Fitting it to the car is much easier the second time you do it, I would suggest you have some help the first time you try!Once it is all secured and tightened up it does a great job of keeping the bird lime and weather off the paintwork.I would say this cover is well worth the price (at time of review) because in the round it is a better product than our summer cover that cost almost exactly the same price.I would happily recommend it to a friend or family member.Happy to help!

All opinions are my own.I chose this product for covering my car when snow is forecast, but the weather has been mild since I ordered it. I therefore haven't tried it on the car yet, as when I started to unfold it, I thought I was going to need someone else to help me put it on.However it looks like it should fit fine as it has elasticated corners and the material seems reasonably robust, although won't know how durable for a while. Unless it is still hidden within the folds, I don't believe it has come with any fitting instructions.Due to its size, it might be a bit of a challenge to dry after use before storing in the conveniently provided drawstring stuff-sack. I also hope it will refold back down to its original size after use.This is the hatchback size, currently priced at £34.99. I have no idea if that is good value or not, but was surprised when I compared it against the other sizes of this product, as it is £2 more than the larger SUV estate size.I plan to update my review after use.

This added layer of insulation is particularly beneficial for modern classic cars like mine, which require extra care and attention.While the cover offers ample protection, I did notice a few drawbacks during the testing process. Firstly, the material of the cover felt somewhat plastic-like, and I had concerns about its durability, especially if caught on sharp edges. Additionally, I found the cover to be just long enough for my vehicle (I picked the correct length) but some how still baggy on some areas. It gave me concerns about if it became windy.I would probably only use this for my indoor parking space if I planned for long term storage rather than some couple weeks /a month which is what I normally use it for.Despite these minor issues, the cover fit okay overall, providing reliable protection against some elements. The inclusion of zippers on both sides allowed for easy access to the driver and front passenger doors, which was a convenient feature. However, I did have reservations about the potential for the zipper pullers to scratch the vehicle's paint if not handled carefully... Again, could be an issue with wind for outdoor storage.In conclusion, the car cover offers decent protection and is suitable for long-term storage purposes. While it may not be the most premium option available, it provides good value for the price and serves its intended purpose but maybe with not much versatility.
