Does what it's supposed to do

Don't buy it.
This was a gift for my wife, she got a brand new HP laptop. This won't allow you to use the charger an the HDMI cable at the same time. It would be great to get my refund.

Nice idea, but
Nice idea, but... First one had flaky connections and would go offline spuriously. Second one had a dead USB port. Third one same as first but more extreme. That's it for this thing.

Temperamental at best. I have to plug in the adapter and hdmi cables multiple times to get it to work every morning. Constantly seeing a red mask overtop windows when moving them around quickly.
