However, the jump joint is covered in a clear round piece of tape that looks like packing tape. The round blue disk in the image is actually clear tape. The small stick is the jump joint. So, I would think that it would hold up in wet conditions. They work well on regular curtains. **Q: Would this product work on a closet rod? So that coat/clothes hangers would not get caught up on that joint?** A: Maybe, if you're talking about the plastic hangers that are about 1/4" in diameter it would work, but if you're talking about metal hangers like the type the dry cleaners hand or the metal tops to wood hangers it would not because the wires are too small in diameter and would still get caught.
