Excellent in terms of quality and depth. It has literally everything in it! It made my son very happy. There are lots of these encyclopaedias for sale but I can’t imagine any beat this for detail and up-to-dateness.

Very good guide to the Star wars world of characters, ship and places.

This is the new retconned Galaxy, so many characters no longer appear as the events 'never happened' or their story has changed. Its quite fascinating to compare. The book is, as the title says, comprehensive covering characters from films, cartoons and newer comics and books many I confess I have not heard of. It appears to be in chronological order rather than alphabetic order so it helps if you are familiar with the new star wars timeline and also when the characters first appeared (although there is a comprehensive index if you know what you are looking for). It is well presented and illustrated throughout, with sections on not only characters but locations and arms and equipment. Nice reference book.

Very expensive but my brother LOVED it for Christmas

Packed with info and pictures it’s great for fans, but very heavy for its binding, so needs looking after to avoid getting damaged

This book is absolutely beautiful and a must have for any die hard Star Wars fan. It has character details for almost every character in the canon timeline, as well as places, technologies and ships and gives information on each one. It’s absolutely massive as well but finished to a very high quality. Characters are shown and detailed in order of canon appearance - took me a while to realise that. Great book, well done DK.

A great updated encyclopaedia with plenty of Star Wars information. This is a big book crammed with information even if you think you know it all you will find some great nuggets of information you never knew. Definitely recommend for any Star Wars fan, well worth the money.
