Great Quality and Shuffle-feel, snugger but this is the first iteration.
Great sleeves for shuffling and good upgrade to the current printed sleeves. They have a really good shuffle-feel which is why they went for this new material formulation for the back.Comparisons to the current line of Ultra PRO printed sleeves with Magic: The Gathering art- Price at purchase is $21.99 USD compared to the current $13.99 USD- A little smaller than the other printed sleeves- Snugger fit for cards.- A little harder to slot in cards with inner sleeves but it might loosen up in time if you're considering inner sleeves for double-faced cards- Because it's slightly smaller, there's a smaller margin at the top of the card- Clearer front that the cards are more visibleThis may be the new formula they use for the printed sleeves that match the MTG set. The visibility of the cards are a significantly noticeable difference. The current printed sleeves are duller and these are clearer. Looking at the grey background, it seems that those are the closest comparison and what they're trying to replace. Not sure if they plan on using the same formulation but with a black background similar to the Eclipse line.Given that, this is a little more expensive ($21.99 USD at time of purchase) than the usual $13.99 USD price for the current printed sleeves for Lost Caverns of Ixalan. That could be pricier because of anything such as it's a Magic 30 style (like the other products in the Magic 30 line), it's the first and/or limited run, etc. It would be nicer if the price was closer to the current printed sleeves, given that these are looking to replace them and they'll probably be the only option for sleeves with licensed MTG art that matches the set.Overall, I am very happy with them and consider them a significant upgrade to the previous Ultra Pro printed sleeves. Hopefully, this is Version 1 and they can adjust the size over time. But the materials feel good, especially when shuffling, which what they are communicating is the biggest difference. If I wanted printed sleeves with the MTG art I'm looking for, I would definitely buy these Apex sleeves if they were closer to the current printed sleeves' price of $13.99 USD. But if they are still significantly more expensive, I might have to think about it first and consider something cheaper.

My go to sleeves
I have been looking for a sleeve I can use for all of my decks as I trade common cards between all of my decks to save money. This sleeve is now my go to for that. The front is clearer than the regular ultra pro sleeves which shows off foil cards a lot better. Which is good for me as I am a big foil enthusiast. The back is good for not letting the cards freely slip, but they don't stick together at all either. The shuffle is the best I have found and I have just run into my first side card break while shuffling after around 9 months of heavy use. The color being white looks amazing, but they do get dirty easily, so keep them in clean environments. They fit perfectly when double sleeved only leaving a small amount of space from the top of the card to the top of the sleeve, which I personally like better than the older sleeves which extended far above the card tops.Overall a very good quality sleeve, and I do highly recommend these to anyone on the fence.

Really Good! Just a few things…
Best shuffle I have had with glossy sleeves! As well as being noticeably clearer than my eclipses (which have multiple micro abrasions). The texture on the back of the sleeve beats the previous UltraPro art sleeves that have a semi gloss back. These sleeves are a little smaller than the previous art sleeves and Eclipse sleeves by UltraPro, making cards shift up when shuffling. Nothing major, just a couple of light taps on a flat surface shift the card back to the center of the sleeve. So far, I have not had a card pop out of the sleeve.Glossy fronts show surface tension more than the Eclipse sleeves. I am hopeful the front of the sleeve will have less micro abrasions and scratches through shuffling compared to the couple of glossy Eclipse sleeve sets I have, which I could consider replacing.Five or so sleeves had a bad cut on the top left side. The rough edge will probably go away through shuffling.All-in-all, a good set of sleeves! Instant 5 stars if matte fronts were an option.

Good so far
Haven't put them through much use yet but so far they're great. Printing is good and mine have no smudged or blemishes like some of the other reviews have reported. Make sure they send you the full 100 because apparently this item is frequently returned with only part of the sleeves.
