How much does Type Folio weigh?

We wanted to make our keyboard as easy to slip into your bag as your paper tablet. Type Folio weighs approximately 453g (.99 lb) on its own. So when attached to your reMarkable 2 and Marker Plus, the total weight is approximately 878g (1.9 lb).

Does Type Folio have a place to store my Marker?

Just like our Book Folio, Type Folio leaves room for your Marker. It snaps magnetically to the right side of your reMarkable, making it easy to access when typing and annotating, but stored neatly out of the way while reading or on the go.

Can I use Type Folio with other tablets?

No. Type Folio was made specifically to work in conjunction with reMarkable 2’s software and will not work with other E Ink tablets. It is the only physical keyboard that your paper tablet supports.

Will using Type Folio affect the battery life of reMarkable 2?

No. Using the Type Folio for note-taking should make almost no noticeable difference to the overall battery life of your paper tablet.

What material is Type Folio made from?

Type Folio is made from artificial leather and offered in two colors: Sepia Brown and Ink Black. It’s durable, polymer-based, and vegan — which we know is important to customers who’d prefer not to use animal-based products to protect their device.
