90 Litre Galvanised Metal Dust Bin

Having read some adverse reviews, I was a bit worried what these bins would be like. However, I found no sharp (likely to cut fingers) handles, both bins and lids arrived undented and they seem quite sturdy. The lids have hooks that go over the handles to stop them lifting off easily. Just hoping nothing will rust as I have to store them outdoors and I've previously had so called 'galvanised' things go rusty. I'm storing wild bird feed in them and hope they'll survive better than the two plastic bins I've just discarded. Although they'd lasted 6 months undamaged, during 4 days when I was away from home they were annihilated by marauding squirrels.

I use this outdoors storing bagged animal feed. It has been durable and watertight during all weathers. It’s been weighed down by allot of food but has never blown over. It has really useful handle clips on the lid to stop the lid from coming off and has been very secure from rats and other animals. When it’s empty it’s very light and easy to move around.

If you're hoping for a 1970's bin-man, slinging it over his shoulder type dustbin then you will be sadly disappointed, however, if what you want is a lightweight metal bin to keep the rodents out of whatever you're storing, then this is perfectly fit for purpose. Added bonus are the anchoring loops on the lid, that snuggly slip over the handles on the bin itself, so it won't get blown off in the wind, or accidentally knocked off

The dustbin lid is far too big for the dustbin. It moves around . It will blow off in the wind. I have contacted the seller, but it was like banging my head against a brick wall, I asked for a new bin lid. But they needed me to show them damage!! I explained twice that the lid was far too big, it’s was just so difficult dealing with them, so I gave up. So I tried to bash the bin lid with a hammer to push the outer rim of the lid in, but it was taking a long time, time which I hadn’t got. So it’s quite useless for outside. So a waste of money unless you are a panel beater and you can hammer the lid to fit the bin. All I wanted was another bin lid!!!!!!! Shame because the bin is quite strong.

This bin lid is too loose and will fall off when windy.. it’s quite light for a galvanised bin but it does the job which I purchased it for. If I was wanting it for secure dry contents I would be concerned about lid fitting

Good delivery and item as described A good sized bin for our needs. It easily holds a large bag of poultry food and our scoop etc No rodent damage or ingress to date
