Roll of Matte Black Oracal 631 Removable Vinyl Works w/All Vinyl Cutters (12 Inch x 10FT)

We use this to create stencils for spray painting signs. It cuts easily on our cheap plotter/vinyl cutter, and the adhesive sticks well and seals tight around the edges to prevent paint seepage. The vinyl removes easily after painting, and doesn't leave any residue behind, like some other vinyl brands we've used. Just what we needed.

This product works great on stenciling with my Cricut machine. Very good quality.

Perfect for my DIY projects

I used half of this vinyl on errors. For some reason it wouldn't cut through and it stuck to the mats. Even on the settings we normally use it wouldn't cut...The good thing is we had so much left over we had enough for our projects but we wasted A LOT. This also happened with other stencil vinyl and that vinyl wouldn't stick. I wish I could find THAT perfect vinyl.

I love oracal vinyl. I used this roll to create a checkered accent wall to avoid trying to keep straight paint lines. Me & painter’s tape don’t get along. It was a pain to line up but that’s not the vinyl’s fault. It was easy to peel up and move around as needed! Been up for a few days with no issues. Make sure that if you’re applying to a painted wall, you remove as much texture as possible. Again, this is a user’s error but I do have a little bit of bubbling. I love this vinyl!

I use this vinyl for my backdrops for my balloon arches! It sticks well, it is good quality. Extremely easy to weed and is durable. It is my favorite vinyl to work with for my silhouette.

I bought two types of vinyl (631 and 651) for an art project, and I was very pleased with the quality. 631 is removable and 651 is permanent. The rolls looked exactly the same, but there was a noticeable difference in the adhesive strength between 631 and 651. Some takeaways from my experience: 1) 631 is much easier to remove and reposition on your art surface than 651. However, keep in mind that it still might be difficult to pick up and reposition thin/delicate shapes after the vinyl has been placed. It might be more doable on a ceramic surface, but for my particular project, I was cutting out vinyl letters to place onto paper and acetate. When I made a mistake, I could peel off the letters, but when the font was too thin or elaborate, the vinyl could warp and stretch out upon removal -- I couldn't reuse most of my vinyl letters. 2) This vinyl cuts like butter! I was cutting the vinyl by hand with an x-acto blade. I didn't have to apply much pressure at all to cut out shapes and the wax paper backing is strong enough to hold enough most of the time.

Not very tacky

On applying to light grip mat the vinyl creased and riped in a number of places, I found it unusable. Advert suggests a yellow squeegee included, all I received was an unusable roll of vinyl, won’t purchase again.
