PEETPEET Dryer - Multi Electric Shoe and Boot Dryer with Glove D

The boot dryer/warmer is great. Runs all the time very quietly. Plug it in to turn it on, no on/off switch to go bad! Uses very little energy. The glove attachment is wonderful, gets each finger dry and warm! I have had a Peet Boot Dryer for years and it still runs great, only name I would buy in Boot Dryers. My husband and I would fight over who's gear would get to be on it, so I needed to buy another one and the 4 item unit is awesome!! I did not want a boot dryer with a timer only (most stated 3 hour timer), I like my boots, shoes and gloves to be warm in the morning. I use it through all seasons as it does not give off so much heat as to create an issue in the summer months and it the GREATEST THING to have warm dry gear every day!!

This original multi dryer is the best for quite a few reasons. My last multi dryer I bought 18 years ago it is white and still working fine even though it is a little scorched and grimy from dirty boots the performance is not effected at all it just doesn't look very pleasing. These dryers do not use very much electricity. I tested my first one and this new one with a power usage meter and did the math for operating cost if you keep it plugged in its only going to cost you 2 to 3 dollars a month in electricity to operate. I love the new black plastic they are using it looks really sharp. This model is made right here in the USA it is not foreign made. The Peet dryer company has the best customer service and they back their products and really care about their customers. I want to say that I do not work for or have received any promotional stuff or anything else from the manufacturer of this dryer. I am writing this review because I want to let people know my 30+ years of experience with these dryers. Read the instructions and use common sense when operating your dryer. Drying time is anywhere from a few hours to 8 hours. The slow drying process is much better it will extend the life of your boots and your shoes. If you have leather shoes or boots oil them with the leather oil of your choice and put them on the dryer for 24 hours this will allow the oil to soak in better from the heat of the dryer extending the life of the shoe. I wear expensive Chippewa boots and I am hard on them. My boots get soaked from riding motorcycles in the rain, filthy dirty from walking in the mud, grease, oil, and daily activities at the end of the day I sometimes have to rinse off my boots with a garden hose before I can place them on the dryer overnight. Soaked through my boots are dry by morning with one of those dryer's. Now the glove attachments they are awesome. Oil your new leather gloves put them on the dryer overnight and your gloves are ready in the morning. If you want this dryer to work a little bit faster I have found that drying 2 pair of wet boots, shoes, and/or gloves works the best. Make sure that you have good air flow coming out of the shoe boot or gloves while drying. If you don't use the correct attachments you will damage your dryer I have damaged one making this mistake don't do it. For boot and glove maintenance you need one of these and I will share with you what works for me. I clean a pair of boots or shoes with saddle soap then I dry them on the dryer overnight or until they are nice and warm. Next I apply a leather preservative oil on the leather and place back on the dryer to keep warm so it soaks in better usually 2 light applications. Next I apply a leather preservative grease on the leather usually 2 light coatings put the boots back on let that soak into the leather. Last I melt down some black shoe polish and apply it to the leather and place the boot back on allowing the polish to dry next I buff/shine the leather. If you care for a pair of boots like this along with the use of this dryer year round your boots are going to last 2 to three times longer. Over the summer or winter your feet sweat and your shoes start to stink right ? If you get one of these you won't have that problem anymore. If you have athletes foot or toenail fungus the dryer will help you get rid of this problem with your feet or reduce the problem. Your boots are going to be dry, off the floor, and out of the way from people and animals is another benefit of owning one of these dryers. Another benefit of this model is if you have a guest come over with wet or sweaty boots/shoes they will leave with dry or warm shoes depending upon how long they are left on the dryer. If you have a girlfriend or significant other they will love it when they first put on nice dry warm shoes no matter what time of the year if you dont believe me try it. If you are worried about shoe odor use it in the garage or outside for example on a covered porch area protected from rain this dryer will perform perfectly fine. When I go on a trip I take my dryer with me if possible. It doesn't matter where you live because I have used this model in the desert while visiting the southwest USA to my home in the rainy wet Pacific northwest. Yes these are not cheap yet they are worth every cent because over time they save me quite a bit of money so the cost doesn't bother me even tho im disabled on a fixed income. I prefer this model over the one with the fans because it is quiet. If you want a dryer built here by people in the USA buy this dryer give it a chance. After 18+ years of trouble free operation you can give it away to a skeptic who has a silly chinese made noisy dryer like I did who loves my old white model. I don't know what I would do without one of these dryers they are a great tool to own. I highly recommend them for personal use or as a gift to someone. Hopefully I can add more to this review in the future I would like to share photos showing 2 pairs of boots drying before and after. Or 2 pair of soaked leather gloves drying before and after just to show yes these are amazing. I also recommend buying an extra set of the glove attachments if you buy this model. Hopefully I can buy a helmet dryer for this dryer in the future. Thank you very much.

MADE IN USA!!! Great two boot / boot & glove dryer. Quiet heat convection system. Comes with two boot dryer attachments & glove dryer attachments. Keeps the room warm in winter as a bonus! Always keep your boots dry and warm. I believe if you use boots every day, you should use a boot dryer. Keeps boot stinky away! Never mind the price, it is worth it in my opinion. Always have warm, dry boots, your feet will thank you.

Must be used overnight. Nothing fast about this boot dryer. To be fair, it works well but needs ample amount of time to get the job done.

This Peet dryer is amazing. I have the odor eliminating attachment with mine and use it daily to refresh my shoes after working all day. Love it! This machine also saved my favorite sneakers after I got caught in a downpour. My sneakers were completely soaked and when they air dried after a few days, they smelled so bad I had to keep them in the garage in a plastic bag to get the offensive odor out of the house. I tried everything I could think of to remove the smell — sprays, powders, etc., absolutely nothing worked. I was reluctantly coming to the conclusion that my very favorite sneakers were going to have to go in the trash. I was heartbroken. Then I read about the Peet dryer with the deodorizer attachment and decided to give it a try. One last effort to fix my favorite sneaks. I ordered it and when it arrived, I set it up right away. I got my sneakers from the garage, holding them at arms length because of the offensive odor, and put them on the Peet dryer/deodorizer. I honestly wasn’t feeling very optimistic, but was hopeful, and in less than an hour, (I’m not kidding or exaggerating), my sneakers smelled fresh and new, and I’ve been wearing them ever since! I am so grateful to Peet for a fantastic product that truly does exactly as they say. It actually works better than they say. Highly recommend. It makes absolutely no noise whatsoever, completely silent, when on, and would truly make a great gift for anyone. I’ve also used it to dry out my gloves and when I put them back on they were not only dry, but cozy warm. I just can’t say enough about it. Winter is coming and I just know I’m going to be so happy to have my Peet!
