Used to fix water pooling on monoblock Lifted blocks. Dug out hardcore placed grating fits perfectly for 200x100 blocks. Was able to hammer them in between blocks for a tight fit. Hosed down and watched the water drain away. Very pleased

When I opened the packaging, these grates felt like iron gates from the weight and even from the first looks. Only when I lifted them and gave them a knock, I found that they were made of very thick plastic. They are sturdy and when putting on flat surfaces, feel very flat. This helps immensely when installing them as the levelling works on both sides of each panel. Panel size itself is just about right and they are again surprisingly thick. One pack was enough for me for covering all the space in front of my house and I am considering getting more to install in my garden for running through the planters. Once installed, they look great. More importantly, they do their job well and it was easy to install pipes inside them for allowing water running.I really like these and they are great for any type of job and easily a great alternative to the usual iron grates that are normally prone to rust. Great size, great quality and great size. Thumbs Up!

These gratings are made from a very heavy, very dense plastic, are very well-formed and lie perfectly flat. The topside is studded with rounded dimples that combine with the texture of the grating shape to make them reassuringly non-slip, although have not yet had opportunity to test them when they're covered in anything particularly slippery; just water is fine though. They are easy to fit together, simply butting up against each other without any issues and being heavy enough to hold in place under most conditions. With a little effort they could fairly easily be cut to size for any applications that they don't fit as standard.

Although 'plastic', this is real heavy-duty stuff, as you'll find out when the seemingly small number of 6 pieces arrive in a very heavy and substantial box*.Made for foot-traffic-only areas, this stuff looks and feels like it will be well up to the job, no problem.Every piece is dead flat... no raised ends or twisting at all... so it it will lay very easily and really look the part when down.The short sides butt up to each other perfectly, with the joins virtually invisible close up.Very pleased with these, and I'm looking forward to getting them down as soon as the weather permits.*Just a quick note if ordering:Make sure these are sent separately from any other orders from Amazon.Mine was shipped together with another item, inside the usual (thinner) Amazon boxes. The sheer weight of the separately-boxed drain grates had burst the thinner box open, where anything else included could easily have been lost or damaged.These grates are going to last a lifetime if sited/used in an appropriate location, and although the price may appear high initially, the quality is such that you won't be needing to replace them a few years down the line.Recommended... 5-Stars.

On opening, visually and from the weight, I thought they were iron. They're very convincing! Super heavy.Can be cut with a jigsaw, the product images show a saw, but you'd be a madman to do it by hand, or just strong.Using for a French drain in the garden. The dogs don't mind walking on them, which was a concern I hadn't thought of initially. They look very nice laid out where they'll be living once I've finished the digging.Highly impressed with the quality and sturdiness.
