I have been out of metal detecting a long time, so decided to get this model just to get back into. I have to say, great little machine, easy to build, light and comfortable to use. More than capable of finding items up 6 inches and then a little more. Important part is getting to know the signals and different metals, and you will find a good training model it is. Important part you must watch for is the following, or you will end the model before you start. Be very careful putting batteries into the machine, if they don't fit properly, you are doing it wrong, and if you don't watch you will trap the wires, and break them. That is the only major advice I would give.

All i seem to find is old Roman rubbish and you have to bury it again or go through lots of paper work !!

I’ll say straight up- you get what you paid for. Positives: It’s nice and light, and as someone who’s never used a metal detector before, it’s simple to use compared to others you can get. The screen is nice and big so you can see everything on there. Easy to put together/set up. Negatives: To start with if you’re someone who’s never gone metal detecting- I actually wouldn’t recommend this. Yes, there is the argument of if you should just go straight to an expensive, quality metal detector or start simple. I’d say go better. I very quickly became obsessed with this hobby but realising that this detector just isn’t that good made me also quickly realise I’ll just go better and stick with that. Trust me if you get stuck in- you’ll be buying a better one within a few weeks. So the problems? It’s the constant false signals. And for the life of me, I can’t figure out what it is except putting fault to the machine. Even when swinging slowly on a lower sensitivity there always seems to be the constant frustrating issue with false signals. And I’m aware it happens with all detectors but this is constant no matter where I am and I’ve tried a range of places. As for finds, it’ll get you coins and buttons- old rusty parts nobody wants to dig up. And I must say the depth is really good! So as I say- hit or miss. You do get what you paid for though, and I’m not saying spend silly amount on so and so but I’ve just bought Noktas legend because I’ve heard ALOT of good things about it. If you’re buying for maybe a child or someone who just wants to have a go- I would recommend.

Coil is ok ish for tge money but the quality of stem etc is awful. I am not very tall but the stem still did not extend enough and then it just decided to break from fatigue after just a couple of outings. The battery compartment is terrible also and too tight which make lid pop off all the time. It basically feels like like a kids toy. I think Minelab are trying to keep up with the Chinese poor quality detectors with this machine but it’s not giving Minelab a good name as it’s no better than a Chinese machine . If you are looking for a very good quality detector with similar budget - go for the Nocta X Pro which is only £49 more but the quality and standard is amazing and stands side by side with far more expensive detectors and always detects accurately.

Der X-Terra Voyager ist wirklich super und hat mich vollkommen überzeugt. Das Gerät ist extrem leistungsfähig und findet zuverlässig Münzen, Schmuck und andere Gegenstände, selbst wenn sie tief im Boden vergraben liegen. Die Bedienung ist sehr benutzerfreundlich und das Display gut lesbar. Die verschiedenen Modi und Einstellungen lassen sich mühelos anpassen, sodass immer die optimale Konfiguration für die jeweilige Suche gewählt werden kann. Durch das robuste Design und die perfekte Verarbeitung eignet sich der Metalldetektor hervorragend für den Einsatz in unterschiedlichen Umgebungen wie z.B. am Strand, im Wald oder im freien Gelände. Besonders beeindruckend finde ich die zusätzlichen Funktionen wie der Pinpointer, um die genaue Position des Fundes zu bestimmen und die Metallunterscheidung, die die Schatzsuche noch effektiver machen. Ein weiteres großes Plus ist, dass im Set alles enthalten ist, was man benötigt. Es sind keine zusätzlichen Käufe erforderlich, sodass man direkt mit der Schatzsuche beginnen kann. Usando as instruções inclusas, conseguiu montar o detector de metais em apenas alguns minutos. Não são necessárias ferramentas nem conhecimentos especiais. Até as pilhas duas de 9 volts estão incluídas, então você pode começar imediatamente. O comprimento da sonda é ajustável; ela pode ser dobrada para transporte em uma mochila e até mesmo desmontada. O dispositivo pesa aproximadamente 1,3 kg e, quando dobrado, mede 72 centímetros de comprimento. Ela pode ser estendida até um máximo de 1.36 m. Para mim, que tenho 1,98 m, ela esta a quase no máximo para o meu uso. A bobina do detector foi projetada para ser mantida a apenas alguns centímetros do solo. ( As costas tem de ficar direitas ). Como alvos de busca, ainda pode se escolher entre metais comuns, moedas e metais preciosos. No entanto, o visor mostra cada pedaço de metal que a bobina encontra ao longo do caminho. Isso também funciona se tiver definido um alvo de busca diferente. A parte superior do visor mostra o tipo de metal que provavelmente encontrou. Há também um modo de treinamento, voltado principalmente para a busca de moedas locais atuais. Antes de testar, assisti alguns vídeos e, por isso, movi cuidadosamente a bobina à prova d'água a uma distância de 2 a 3 centímetros do solo. O detector tem uma junta na parte inferior que permite ajustar a bobina para que ela fique sempre paralela à superfície. Quando a sonda atinge o alvo, pressiono o botão de localização para estreitar a localização. Isso funciona surpreendentemente bem. Durante o teste, rapidamente encontro alguns parafusos e tampas de garrafa. Com a ajuda da pá dobrável, também desenterrei alguns pedaços de metal não identificáveis. No total, usei o detector de metais para o teste por cerca de sessenta horas em vários dias. Claro, apenas onde é ( permitido nu meu quintal ), aqui em Portugal e probido o uso de detectors de metal. Fiz testes em praia, mato e montes no interior do pais. Fui abordado algumas vezes, mas quase sempre de forma amigável. Geralmente, as pessoas queriam saber se era difícil de usar o detector o saber como usar o aparelho as pessoas tabem queriam saber se o detector poderia encontrar joias o ouro com ele. isso não é tão fácil assim, mesmo que a joia não esteja coberta. Joias muito pequenas, especialmente aquelas com baixo teor de metais preciosos, costumam ser difíceis de encontrar, mesmo com detectores profissionais. Com meu anel escondido, recebi um sinal quando segurei a placa diretamente sobre ele. Simplesmente varrer a sonda no modo de busca geral não encontrei nada. Então, a sorte desempenha um grande papel aqui. Embora infelizmente não tenha encontrado uma corrente de ouro ou algumas moedas de prata enterradas, diverti-me surpreendentemente com o dispositivo. Rapidamente me acostumei com o zumbido nos ouvidos e fiquei surpreso com a rapidez com que se pega o bichinho da caca o tesouro. Como o dispositivo é relativamente fácil de usar e não é muito pesado, posso facilmente imaginá-lo como uma ótima maneira de passar uma tarde com crianças. Portanto, também posso imaginar o dispositivo da Minelab X-Terra Voyager como um ótimo presente para detectores iniciantes, tanto jovens e mais velhos. Isso é especialmente verdadeiro porque o conjunto completo contém tudo o que você precisa para começar. Mesmo que não encontre nada valioso (como eu...), uma sessão com o detector de metais ainda é bastante instrutivo: você percebe rapidamente a quantidade de detritos metálicos enterrados no solo.

Utilizzo il Minelab X-Terra Voyager da un po’ e mi sta dando davvero soddisfazioni. È un metal detector pensato per chi vuole iniziare, ma con prestazioni che vanno oltre il livello base. La cosa che mi ha colpito di più è la semplicità d’uso: dopo pochi minuti si prende confidenza con i comandi e si riesce già a distinguere tra diversi tipi di metallo. Il display è chiaro e aiuta molto a capire cosa si ha sotto senza scavare a caso. Buona anche la precisione: nelle mie uscite si è dimostrato affidabile e non “impazzisce” con falsi segnali, soprattutto se si regola bene la sensibilità. Riesce a rilevare oggetti anche a una profondità interessante per questa fascia. Leggero e comodo da usare anche per sessioni lunghe, non stanca troppo il braccio. La costruzione sembra solida e adatta anche a terreni un po’ più difficili. In generale, lo consiglio a chi vuole iniziare con il metal detecting senza spendere cifre troppo alte ma avere comunque uno strumento valido e preciso.

Des la première prises en main , il faut un temps d'adaptation , c'est pas un jouet , il est très performant , il faut prendre le temps avant de comprendre les modes de détections , mais franchement , j'ai découvert des vielles pièces sans grandes valeurs , mais aussi , des choses de la guerre de 14-18 , très émouvant ! Conclusion , il est très bien , à vous de bien le paramétrer !
