Liquid Insulating Rubber, Liquid Insulation Tape, Insulation Electric Sealant, Liquid Insulating Banad, Waterproof, Quick-Drying, High Temperature (Black)

Works, dries flexible; cannot shape it for a perfect flat look
I have used this to repair chipped portions of insulation on a long extension cable. The sealant cures in a few hours, I left it overnight and it was still a bit tacky – the ambient temperature may also be a factor for the speed of curing. The rubbery layer remains flexible after curing, feels as flexible as the rest of the insulation. On applying it has good viscosity, but not enough to apply in a thick layer and have it stay in place to cure in a uniform, flat layer. So, the mending points are very visible even though the color match is pretty good, but the surface is uneven. Not a functional issue, and definitely saving a few dozen dollars for a replacement cable of the same length.
