Very pleased I chose this storage bench over some others I was considering. This one is sturdy, has an attractive natural wood finish, and looks like it should cost a lot more than it did. It came almost entirely pre-assembled; only thing I had to do was screw on the legs, which took about two minutes. Even the cushion is better than expected and is comfortable to sit on. Product was packaged well for shipping.

This is the first product only thing we had to put together was the legs, everything was put together already. Very sturdy and packed very well. Took more time to get it unwrapped than to put the legs on...lol

I just received my bench today. It is even better than advertised! Fully assembled, solid wood, and tons of storage space. I’m using it for a coffee table and it goes so well with my comfy, farmhouse style furniture. It came really fast, too. I highly recommend this!

The bench was well packaged and arrived in great condition. However, as a picture another reviewer posted, I would not consider it white washed. It is quite dark and the screw on feet are almost white so they don't look like they belong together. I chose to keep it because it is sturdy and I like the style. I will attempt to white wash it myself.

Beautiful piece of furniture, but was damaged when it arrived. The wood was split at the top & I was determined to return it for an exchange, but it is very hard to find who you need to call in order to do so. I tried doing it through the order, but wouldn't let me exchange. As I don't believe that I should have to pay for a piece of furniture that is damaged, I tried calling the manufacturer with no avail. The told me to call Amazon. A phone number for Amazon.com is very hard to find therefore I went to my amazon prime card & used that phone number. I told them I was going to dispute the charge on my amazon prime account since no one wanted to pay attention to me.Amazon Prime gave me Amazon's phone number 866-216-1072. I was determined that I wanted an exchange. but ended getting a 30% discount off of the price. I even got a splinter in my hand when putting it in place, but for the discount I was given I will keep it & get some wood glue to glue the splintered part back together. I wasn't expecting the storage bench to be damaged when I received it & was going by the 2 references that seemed to love the bench, but I will think twice before ordering something like this again from Amazon. .

I came across this item when I was searching for something to put right inside the front door where we could store shoes. (Yes I have closets, but my family does not use them and I'm tired of being the shoe police) I really loved the look in the pictures but was worried when I saw so many received the bench damaged. Took a chance and glad I did. My piece was not damaged at all (or if it is, the distressed look is hiding it) I love the bench. It's very sturdy, love the shabby/distressed look. It is, as someone else mentioned, not as white as I'd prefer, has a yellow/beigey tinge to it, but it still looks great with my mostly white décor. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I love the craftsmanship, however it is hardly a whitewash.

Color is a bit off- more yellow than it looks. Doors are for show only- only top opens. Cushion is very hard. But seems sturdy, and was well packaged
