Personally, I prefer this filter to the Black Mist - it just has that special touch. Now, I won’t lie, Tiffen filters come with a price tag! But let me tell you, the value is undeniable. If you're looking at Glimmerglass for your X100VI, you've found the right place. It makes the lights pop and softens the fuji up a little. As a "Canon Guy" primarily, I'm rather used to warmer colors.. as a BIG aperture EF lens guy, I'm used to a little softness too. I found the Fujifilm X100VI to be a bit "clinical" and the colors a bit cool. NOT ANYMORE. This is the filter you want to breathe life into your X100. Fits perfectly, protects your lens, easily installed and great effect for the price. Worth every penny.

I absolutely love this filter! It stays on my Fuji X100VI 100% of the time. It's very subtle and not at all distracting when shooting portraits of people, and provides a beautiful soft diffusion on any light source. Especially perfect for shots at night for any lit-up signs, streetlights, etc. Super happy with the purchase! For what it's worth: I've also used Tiffen's Black Pro Mist filter (their 1/8 is the closest equivalent to this product), and while I like the BPM, I definitely prefer this Glimmerglass over the BPM because the Glimmerglass produces even better overall results for my liking. Go for it!

Just perfect for getting a dreamy effect during daylight shooting with standard-angle lenses (anything north of 40mm). On wide-angle lenses at night, this filter has been unusable - lens flare hell. Any streetlight becomes a danger to the whole image. I almost wonder if I've got a defect, because it's so far from the effect I've seen when others shoot in similar conditions. That said, it does what you need if you're not shooting harsh lights in dark streets.

I love love love the glimmer glass filters! They add such a beautiful touch to your photography and videography, especially at night. There are some halos if you’re not careful, but you’ll get that with most filters.

Was looking at the Promist filters and ended up getting this. Glimmer Glass 1 49mm for the Fuji X100v is fantastic. Keep it on my lens at all time. Not too strong of an effect but gives it that soft bloom that's perfect for a nice soft glow for night images. Also great for Beauty images when used on my Sony alpha cameras.

Después de investigar diferentes tipos de filtros éste es mi preferido. Tiene una manera de suavizar que me gusta más que otras marcas. De hecho mi cámara se fue al suelo y se rompió el filtro (un buen golpe) y intenté comprar uno similar de otra marca, tipo cine, también compré uno para el iPhone y nada. No sé qué hacen los de Tiffen pero se ve mejor sin quitar detalle. Los otros lo difuminan todo y parece desenfocado. Es un poco caro y yo esperaría a que esté en oferta.
