Got this for my 13yo son for his peach fuzz. It took him a few months to -want- to use it, but now it's part of his routine and it seems effortless, drama free. Doesn't take up a lot of space, holds a charge for a long time, very gentle. I like that it's safe and simple enough for a kiddo while still being a "real" grownup tool for self care, teaching independence & responsibility.

Description: The Philips OneBlade comes in a small package with cardboard on the inside where the pieces are protected so it doesn't get banged around in transport. The razor comes with one blade, and fits in the hand with the power button right at the thumb point. There are lines on the handle for a grip point, so it's easier to hold without slippage. A charging cord is included as well as a cover to protect the blade. The box contains very good description of the razor and it's features, such as gentle on the skin. The blade has two sides to it so it can be used for shaving and trimming. Price. At $33CND, it's a nice price point for teens to be able to afford it, or a parent to gift it. Packaging: Small cardboard package with cardboard on the inside where the pieces are protected so it doesn't get banged around in transport. The packaging is small and east to open. You are also able to recycle when disposing of the package. Pros: Easy to use and holds a charge for quite a while without the need to plug it in again. Small footprint so easy to put in your shave kit for travel. Cover for the razor so it extends the life before replacement. Does't knick you or catch the skin like other razors. Perfect for the first time user, or someone who wants a quick and easy shave while traveling. Can be immersed in water without issues. Cons: It could use some rubber on the handle for when it gets wet for firmer grip. Replacement blades cost more then the razor itself. Overall Impressions: This was my sons first razor, and takes care of the peach fuzz and the stache that all teens like to grow out without issues. The blade does the job and cuts the hair without damaging the skin. It doesn't take up too much counter space, and holds a charge for months. I think anyone with a beard who doesn't need a full face shave could also utilize this razor and save some time during their mornings getting ready. Easy to use, you can rinse it under water to clean the blade, and I find that it will last you 5-10 shaves. Well worth the money to introduce your teen to the world of shaving.

Perfect for that sparse teen stubble. Bought my son a popular shaver and noticed he wasn't shaving much. He complained the razor wasn't cutting well. Saw this advertised specifically for teens and he reports it works much better. No irritation, easy to clean, and holds a good charge.
