Q: Would this work on my husbands hand and wrist?

Depends on what's wrong. It does help my hand and wrist but while it helps relieve pain, does not treat the underlying condition.

Q: Is it good for knee pain

My husband doesn’t have knee pain, but this works better than anything else he has ever tried including prescribed topical ointments. His pain is primarily in his calves from prior injuries

Q: The tube says one active ingredient: menthol. So why is this touted as being anything special and/or priced as if it were some special formulation?

While menthol is the only listed active ingredient, Instaflex is the only pain relief cream on the market that contains oxygenated oil (listed under Inactive Ingredients). The exact combination of menthol and hyper-oxygenated oil found in Instaflex was shown in a clinical study to be nearly TWICE as effective at relieving pain as a comparable menthol-only cream.

Q: Why did i get tablets not salve???

Consider yourself lucky, I do not believe it helps.
