I bought this as a replacement of the Bible I've had for years, which was a teen study Bible. Much as I cherish my old one, I wanted a study Bible with a little more "meat," so to speak. This has everything I could ask for: insightful commentary, introductions to each book explaining the history going on at the time it was written, red-letter edition, maps, charts and measurements, concordance, Bible studies, illustrative pictures where appropriate. A true wealth of knowledge and understanding is to be found here.Unfortunately, I have to leave my rating at 3 stars, maybe 3.5. The only issue I have with my copy of this Bible is, sadly, a big one. I don't know if this problem is unique to me, or if others have experienced it, as well, but so far I've found several pages missing in the books of Matthew and Luke. In total, about 15 pages are not included. Clearly, some mistake came up in the manufacturing process, and there are about 6 pages gone from Matthew, and another 9 in Luke. And in Matthew, in place of those missing pages, there are pages that are repeated. So, I have something like Matthew 10 followed by a repeat of chapters 8 and 9, and instead of continuing on through the chapters, it skips to chapter 14, and 11, 12, and 13 are nowhere to be found. Luckily I still have my old Bible, which doesn't suffer from these mistakes, and I have the KJV on my phone, so I have easy access to the missing chapters, but unfortunately I miss out on the wonderful commentary.I'm sure anyone can understand my disappointment when I discovered this. Unfortunately, by the time I noticed these mistakes, I'd had the Bible for a decent amount of time, and marked many passages throughout the whole Book. I decided not to try and return this as I was unsure if they would accept a Bible which had been highlighted so much, and I also didn't feel like losing all the notes I had made.If the publishers see this review and want to send me a new copy that's free of these mistakes, I certainly wouldn't refuse, but I also don't wish to return my current copy when I've already done so much in marking and notating different sections. I don't want to lose my progress.If it weren't for this issue, I would have no qualms in giving this Bible the highest 5-star rating I could. As I said, it has everything I could hope for in a study Bible; and even with these mistakes, I've been blessed by it.Aside from the missing pages in my copy, the only con I can see is that there are some typos throughout the Book; they don't occur very often, but they do appear to be spread throughout the Bible. Thankfully, I haven't noticed any errors in the actual Bible verses; the typos I've seen have only occurred either in the commentary or introductions written by the publishers. In one case, the heading for a section of a chapter had a typo where "Babylon" was spelled "Bablon," but the actual Scriptures all seem to be accurate. This, to me, is not a problem, and I can easily forgive a few typos when the overall content is so good.As for the Book, itself, in terms of its physical state, it's beautiful. The picture on this site doesn't do it justice. The binding is beautiful black leather, and a design of three horns or trumpets is embossed on the back cover. I love the feel of it in my hands, as the leather is soft, smooth, and flexible. The size of the font in the text is very readable, a little bit bigger than my previous Bible, and I find reading it a much easier and enjoyable process because of that. The font size of the commentary is, understandably, smaller, and as such is a bit harder to read. It strains my eyes a little when I'm reading large chunks of commentary, but it's not bothersome.There are illustrations and pictures in the Bible, primarily in the books of Daniel and Revelation. I love this added touch, as it helps bring the text alive in my mind. Even in earlier books- I believe in Exodus- many pictures are included when the description of the sanctuary is given.The pages are thin, but not anymore so than other Bibles I've owned. They have to be thin, with the wealth of extra content, or the Book would be massive and entirely impractical to carry with you wherever you go. Some of the pages, however, are a bit thicker, where pictures are shown, so that the images don't show through on the other side of the page.Overall, I think this is a wonderful Bible, and would be a huge blessing to any Christian. Other than that, an excellent bible. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I cannot find reference data anywhere in this Bible *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on January 9, 2021* I have a couple concerns about this Bible that I stumbled across. One part of it says that they were pontifical robes in the Old Testament, they were not pontifical. There weren't even pontiff's from the Roman church yet in the world, because in the Old Testament it was still the Roman Empire.I found several other questionable things that make me wonder if this might not be Jesuit in nature.Maybe just get yourself a King James version and the conflict series by Ellen G white.This Bible does contain a lot of awesome features, but I'm not sure if I would recommend it. I have not witnessed enough of it yet to know if it's truly Jesuit inspired. Not Everything That Glitters Is Gold, and Christ said test the spirits. A lot of things are coming out as supposedly from Ellen G White these days and it's not. They twist her writings and Things She Said.
