I have fitted many Mac batteries, so I have an advantage where someone that is replacing a battery the first time is going to have issues. For starters, if the old battery has expanded due to being faulty, this makes it hard to remove. There are supplied screwdrivers but the screws that hold the base on the Mac are exceedingly small Alan key style that can strip very easily if not turned gently and at a slight angle. The screws are in the case at a slight angle, and it is vital to have the screwdriver perfectly straight to the screw or it will strip, and it is then extremely hard to get the screw out. The old battery is screwed in. The battery terminal does not have a screwed-on cover like other Macs so this one is a bit easier to do than other models. You can save money doing this yourself. But there is a risk of damage even if you are careful.

This seems like a good quality battery, well made. I ordered based on the model number (A1370 on the bottom of the laptop). The battery fit size-wise, but the connector to the motherboard is in the wrong spot. It turns out that I have a late 2010 model, not a 2011 model. I should have checked more carefully - my fault!But yes - seems good quality. It comes with the relevant screwdrivers needed - that's all you need.The plastic packaging came in useful as it has lots of little depressions that you can use to put the screws from the computer into - you need to keep track of where they go as they're different lengths and need to go back in the correct places!!If you, too, have a late 2010 model, It doesn't look like this brand has a compatible battery for my late 2010 machine, so I won't link to an alternative, but they are on Amazon.

There has been no issue with battery discharge or voltage issues so far. Now I do not have to leave the charging cable plugged in when I am using the MacBook. The quality is decent and so far it has been working fine as expected. It was not easy to open the laptop and fit the battery though. Si esta batería es la que necesita tu MacBook Air de 11", enhorabuena. Mi hijo colecciona portátiles Apple con unos cuantos años, y tiene uno que precisamente necesita esta batería porque la original prácticamente no retiene la carga. Lo bueno es que en estos modelos el cambio de batería es muchísimo más fácil que en modelos más recientes. La batería solo está sujeta por tornillos, sin rollos de pegamentos que tengas que quitar con alcohol isopropílico ni secador. De las baterías de MacBook más sencillas de instalar. Y además por 50€ es un precio razonable para revivir unos portátiles que se han quedado un tanto obsoletos pero que tienen su encanto.

Non ho una foto da aggiungere perchè la batteria è già installata nel computer.L'installazione è semplice e il kit viene fornito anche completo di 3 cacciaviti che servono per svitare le 3 tipi diverse di viti necesarie al processo (si perchè è apple non ci ha già complicato la vita abbastanza).La batteria funziona benissimo, non saprei dire se la durata è la stessa dell'originale, ma trattandosi di un computer vecchio non ha moltissima importanza e fa bene il suo lavoro.Il prezzo è anche abbastanza equilibrato, 50 euro per una batteria che riporta in vita un vecchio mac con una durata discreta lo consiglio veramente.
