Review: Cleans More Easily - I've had dozens of stainless steel flasks over the years. Even though several others are 18/8 gauge these see to be of higher quality than others with respect to cleaning and resisting stain. If you have an Instant Pot, you may have noticed that it cleans up as easily as nonstick coated pot as long as you wash it right away or leave it with a full pot of water soaking. The stainless steel is not only heavy gauge but smooth, easy to clean. These Takeya bottles are similar. That's the most important feature to me. I also like the lid, with flexible carrying loop. I expect this may break more easily than others but mine seems to be holding up well and replacements are cheap. I also like the little removable number on the bottom... although it gets stuck in my backpack quite a bit. Textured paint also looks like and is easier to grab. However, it will probably chip eventually. I wish they made an unpainted version with a slip on cover. Still, I think this is the best I've used. Of course it also keeps liquids hot or cold for a long time... but many do that.

**Q: Does the kleen kanteen sport cap fit?**
A: Not sure what is being asked. The cap for the thermos screws on and fits fine with no leakage.

**Q: does it keep water from freezing?**
A: Yes. Never had the water freeze. Stays very cold all day with some ice cubes still unthawed, but never frozen.

**Q: What is the difference with the Takeya Originals? In both it says 24 hr cold**
A: I believe it has to do with the bottom of the bottle. The Actives has a rubber-like surface near the bottom, but I don't believe that the original does. The plus of this is that the Actives can take jarring a little better. The minus is that the bottom is a little larger. Love my Actives!

**Q: can we buy just a bottom rubber base for the 24 ounce bottle?**
A: Yes but I bought them off the Takeya website.

I've had dozens of stainless steel flasks over the years. Even though several others are 18/8 gauge these see to be of higher quality than others with respect to cleaning and resisting stain. If you have an Instant Pot, you may have noticed that it cleans up as easily as nonstick coated pot as long as you wash it right away or leave it with a full pot of water soaking. The stainless steel is not only heavy gauge but smooth, easy to clean. These Takeya bottles are similar. That's the most important feature to me. I also like the lid, with flexible carrying loop. I expect this may break more easily than others but mine seems to be holding up well and replacements are cheap. I also like the little removable number on the bottom... although it gets stuck in my backpack quite a bit. Textured paint also looks like and is easier to grab. This water bottle is great and pretty easy to clean! The spout is a great size for getting a healthy drink without rushing out at you. I have achey finger joints and have trouble unscrewing a lot of things, but the spout lid is very easy for me to screw and unscrew. The bottle surface also holds stickers, even with washing (unless you’re putting on stickers that can’t handle that, of course). Also, since my hand joint issues make it hard to grip things, I drop things a lot, and this bumper is great for not being the continual cause of everyone else’s jump scares. The hand is also a good enough size that you can fit more of your hand in it, which helps with my issues with grip.
