This is NOT the case for others on the market. The kickstand is far from a gimmick too... I assumed this would break off easily yet having had 2 similar cases before this has never happened, and I do find it very useful. Wear and tear has always been very acceptable too and no reason to expect this to change. Cons: Really not much to report here. The ONLY update I'd like is for a USB socket plug to be added, to stop pocket gunk from clogging up the port. This is a nice to have only though and not a game changer.
