The videos on YouTube is awesome, beginners friendly, this is my first time crocheting. I did made some mistakes but eventually finished around a week with about 2 hours per day. The outcome is very cute but I’m too lazy to do the rest. I’m not sure about the durability of the gift, because after finishing it I gave it as a gift for a friend, but it looks very good and the yarns are in great shape.

I was really excited to make this kit initially. After making the body and the various parts I was losing steam. Attaching the parts is never much fun in my opinion. However, by the end of the kit I was very happy with the little frog that I made. My husband will make the mushroom hat frog, and I made the one with the flower. Cute. I am not sure if my stem will stay in the flower. The wire in my kit looked different from the one in the videos. I'm still happy with it.

I’m the last person who should be attempting crochet I’ve messed up every beginners thing I’ve tried, except this one. I slow the speed down on the videos and follow with ease.

I do like these cute frogs. I will say that the colors of the string are much more muted than I expected. I wish they were more bright. But the instructional videos are pretty nice and the written instructions are pretty easy to follow.

I loved this kit!!! I went in with a little bit of experience from another kit and found this to be a slight increase in difficulty, so total beginners might find this tricky. There's a lack of explanation on how to sew the pieces together — if you're experienced in crochet then you'll be fine, but it was my first time stitching pieces together so I had to just wing it and try to use common sense to figure it out. It turned out pretty good, though! It's also worth mentioning that I ended up with the EXACT amount that I needed of the creamy white yarn, to the point where I had to be a little stingy while sewing up at the end, because I couldn't afford to leave longer yarn tails on the ears or I would've run out. So just be aware of that and try not to waste the yarn — it does come with a separate mini ball of plain white yarn to practice on, so you don't have to use up the yarn for the actual project. The final result is soooo adorable and totally worth it!! I had some extra red yarn so I added a little neck tie, and I named her Annie :)

This looks very cute but it is not for beginners!!!! Just beware! The thread is small and shreds and the instructions are difficult. I almost gave up but bought the woobles which is beginner friendly. I am determined to make the monkeys but must practice more. It’s frustrating!

Got these a few months ago just to see if I would like it because I was craving a new hobby, and I can say I am hooked! The kit contained plenty of yarn for the two little frogs and then some, so a great value for money. It also had 2 hooks and plenty of stitch markers. Definitely use the practice string provided to try out the different stitches before you dive into the actual pattern, and watch the videos, they were very helpful whenever I got stuck and made the process extremely enjoyable. Once you get in the groove it's very relaxing too! I have since made hundreds of different little animals for my kids, their friends, their teachers, and even made up my own patterns for some of the requests! It's a wonderful creative outlet!

I got this as a gift for my mom and step sister and both absolutely loved it! So cute with clear instructions to help beginners.

It might say for beginners but that must mean amateur not novice. If you’ve never done it before, then this may not be what you want to start with.
