I bought these to brighten up a dark-ish corner on one of my tables. These candies did just that! They're very sweet (duh--pure sugar) but colorful. Probably not good around small children or anyone/thing that craves sugar. They are not attractive eating for me, but then I'm not a sugar-free person (i.e., eating a few would not be a problem in my case).They'd also be great on cakes, cupcakes, sweet breads, and so forth. Perfect for Mardi Gras!

These are great :)Okay, they're just sugar,. But they're pretty and they're fun, and they were exactly what I needed. I had to get a "crystal" gift that was not expensive, and this fit the bill perfectly.If you're looking to use these in a cooking or baking application, I can say this: the colors are bright and cheerful, and pretty evenly varied. I did not notice a prevalence of any single color. The size of the crystals is also very uniform. They would be great for multi-colored decorations on frosted cookies or cupcakes. They might be pretty cool in an aquarium there - the look reminds me a lot of the multi-colored gravel we had in aquariums when I was a child.

It is rock candy, but it's not exactly what I expected from multi colored rock candy. It is unflavored uncolored rock candy that has a coating of flavored dye on the outside. Most of the colors taste okay, but there's a little fruitiness to some of them, and one of the dyes really tastes badly. The crystals are moderately small in size, which isn't a knock against the product, just a fact. Once the dye is sucked off, they all have the traditional unflavored rock candy taste and texture. I personally won't be buying them again, unless I was looking more for a gem like cake decoration or something.

I used these for my son’s LOTR birthday cake as gems in Smaug’s treasure hoard. They were perfect! There were far too many for this one project so now I have a ton for other things. 👍🏻

I don't even know where to start! First of all, the bag is missing two of the listed colors, which is the entire reason I purchased this product. The colors are so-so, not vibrant like the picture. It seems like it was added after the crystals were made. The red isn't even red, it's rosy pink. Considering I need these for a cake, I needed all the colors that were listed, now I have to buy white separately. AND this isn't even returnable.Side-note, if you need to separate all the colors like I did, it's gonna take at least and hour and half. And use tweezers unless you want your fingers to change colors.Also, the flavors are barely noticeable.
