Really good and affordable monitor arm for the floating look.
This is a really good monitor arm, I've used the grommet method where I drilled a small hole into my desk and then I hooked it up to my 34" Samsung Odyssey Ultrawide monitor, it working perfectly, its really easy to assemble only took me like 20 minutes. The adjustabilty is really smooth and easy even with a heavy monitor like mine and it has nice cable management holders so cables stay hidden

Perfect value for money, does everything you need it to. Sturdy.
Bought this for a third monitor to add to my setup. Hold's a 24" monitor like it's made of feathers. Very easy to move around, sturdy design and very easy to assemble. Barely takes any space up. Would buy another if I needed to. Good value.

Affordable and Sturdy: BONTEC Single Arm Monitor Mount
I've been using the BONTEC Single Arm Monitor Desk Mount for my 27-inch monitor, and overall, it's a solid product with a few minor drawbacks. Pros: 1. **Build Quality**: The arm feels sturdy and well-made, especially considering its price point. The zinc material and robust U-shaped joint head structure provide reliable support for my monitor, and I can confidently say it holds my monitor without any wobbling. 2. **Wide Range of Motion**: This monitor arm offers a great degree of flexibility. It tilts, swivels, and rotates smoothly, allowing for easy adjustment whether I want my monitor in landscape or portrait mode. The gas spring arm makes height adjustments effortless, though it's important to remember that the spring only works once the monitor is mounted. 3. **Space-Saving Design**: The C-clamp and grommet mounting options are a nice touch, offering flexibility depending on your desk setup. The cable management system is helpful too, keeping the clutter under control. 4. **Good Value for Money**: Given the price, especially with discounts, this is a budget-friendly option that doesn't compromise too much on quality. Cons: 1. **Gas Spring Sensitivity**: One thing I noticed is that the gas spring mechanism is quite sensitive to the monitor's weight. If your monitor is on the lighter end (closer to 3kg), it might take some fine-tuning to get it to hold position well. Heavier monitors in the 6-9kg range seem to work better with the gas spring. 2. **Installation Complexity**: While the product offers two mounting options, the installation process wasn't as smooth as I hoped. The instructions could be clearer, and it took a bit of trial and error to get it mounted securely. Also, you need to make sure you have the right desk thickness to match the clamp sizes. 3. **Adjustment Resistance**: While the movement range is impressive, the arm can feel a bit stiff, especially when adjusting the swivel and tilt. I expected smoother transitions, but once it's in place, it does hold well. 4. **Limited Tilt Range**: The tilt range is 90 degrees, which is decent but could be slightly more for those who want extra flexibility. This might not be a big deal for most users, though. ### Final Thoughts: The BONTEC Single Arm Monitor Desk Mount is a reliable, affordable option for anyone looking to free up desk space and improve ergonomics. It works best with heavier monitors, and once you get past the initial setup, it's easy to use and adjust. However, if you're after a mount with ultra-smooth movements and easy setup, you may want to consider higher-end alternatives. For the price, though, it does a fantastic job!

Holds an ultrawide monitor no problem
Got this to mount an ultrawide monitor too. It was really easy to install, feels very sturdy and looks good making it great value for money. Haven't had any issues that you get with some others with the weight of the screen making them tilt foward. It just holds everything nice and straight and occasionally when I want to rotate the monitor, it moves easily. The cable management in the arms works really well too.

Sturdy and good value
Very sturdy and very good quality for the price. My desk top is quite thick and this was one of the few that would fit. Very happy with my purchase.

It's Ok but a bit flimsy - You get what you pay for!
The monitor arm is Ok. It works, with a little bit of adjustment. It does feel very light and cheap. Firstly, the provided screws are too long and the spacers/washers are either too big for the smaller screws or not big enough for the big screws. I had to improvise and put a piece of wood behind the plate so that the screws fit securely. The smaller screws also have very flimsy plastic heads. I manged to damage one of the screw heads when tightening it, luckily it comes with a spare. Secondly, the monitor arm is very light and doesn't feel sturdy. This results in my monitor wobbling and bouncing around, even when I move my mouse or type on my keyboard. I'm still unsure whether I'm going to keep the monitor on the arm as the wobble is distracting, maybe I'll get used to it. It only cost ยฃ26 so I guess you get what you pay for. I may need to upgrade to a sturdier more expensive monitor arm. I'm mounting a 34" ultrawide monitor which weighs 6KG. The monitor arm can take 9KG apparently... I'm not sure it could cope with anything heavier than 6KG. Overall, it's Ok. It may prove to be a decent purchase if I can cope with the wobble.... or I may need to buy something sturdier, in which case, this was a waste of money!
