I was recommened this by a professional painter. Gives a beautiful finish and never loses a bristle. Very pricey but it is a paint brush for life.

Can I start by saying I am not a pro decorator, in fact on my list of things I like its way down at the bottom. I therefore don't want to spend any more time doing it than I have to! Having spent years using the standard DIY brush packs to varying degrees of success I was faced with glossing 12 doors so decided to try a more expensive option. So far 5 doors completed and and the results are very good, no loss of bristles and an excellent finish, also cleans easily. I was so impressed I bought several more in various sizes as it has been made clear to me that the painting isn't stopping at the doors ......... In summary I have probably spent more on these 5 Purdy brushes than I have spent on all the other brushes I have owned, but hey if it means I get to spend more free time away from paint it will be worth it.

Slightly concerned about quality when it arrived with a bare handle, no varnish, but overlooking that probably the best brush I have ever had. Used extensively so far on brickwork, masonry and woodwork, carefully cleaned each time and used damp when with water based paints. Still as good as new, no bristle loss, no obvious wear, remarkable, no other brush I have tried has survived so many square metres of brickwork and concrete, then still been good enough to get a good finish on wood.

I bought this brush for my partner, who is an experienced Painter & Decorator, to replace 2 Purdy brushes he bought 25 years ago. He is only now finding the originals are too worn down for cutting in work. He couldn't find replacements in the shops but I said I would try the internet and here we are. He has used it and says it is good but not as good as the originals were as the brush density seems slightly thinner. It still is an excellent purchase for someone needing a decent quality brush.

I am in love with this brush! The bristles are incredibly soft and dense, which allows for a smooth and even application of my foundation. The handle is ergonomic and the brush fits perfectly in my hand. If you are looking for a foundation brush that gives a professional finish, this is it!

Best ever brush, will last years.

When you have painted a lot, you know a good brush over run of the mill. Purdy’s top line brushes have such a great feel when painting, and hold so much paint without dripping it is amazing. Great brush, couldn’t be happier.

I only used it on some trim, it will give a pretty smooth finish. When painting, bristles come to a very narrow point, which allows more control in small or narrow areas. I haven't done enough with it to give a more detailed review. P. S. mine came from England, and it took a few weeks to get it.
