Pet Products Arctic Freeze Fetch Food Cooling Teether Upgraded Chew Toy

This teething toy seems well made but it’s too big to fit in my Shichon Poo’s mouth and he is now 10wks old. He will grow into it, just thought this would be helpful for other parents of small breed pups.

I rarely purchase anything that has fewer than 200 reviews, and this one only had 2, so it was a gamble. But I figured, hey, if it's crap, it's so cheap I won't care too much. To my surprise, it's excellent.I have an elderly, arthritic cat that spends most of his time these days sleeping under my writing desk. Bought this to help alleviate his pain (in conjunction with his prescription and a glucosamine supplement). I tucked it under 1 layer of blanket, with two layers of blanket underneath, and put it in his favorite spot. He LOVES it. Before I put it under the desk, I had it plugged in elsewhere on the floor just to make sure it wasn't going to fry him alive. My other cat (young and NOT arthritic) immediately found it, started rolling around all over it, picking up and playing with the edges with her claws (worried me a bit, but I watched carefully and no harm done! This is good, tough material!), and finally took a nap on it. So that's 100% approval from two very different felines.I've had it running for two days straight. I did notice it had finally turned itself off this morning--probably finally got too warm with my cat practically living on it which triggered the safety off function--but that's no big deal. I don't mind turning it back on every two days. This time after I had it running awhile I stuck a meat thermometer on top of the pad (with fabric cover on) and under the blanket. The heating pad controller reads 60°C (140°F) and my thermometer reads 55.6°C (132°F) so I have no doubt the coils really are 60°C. This is the maximum setting, and it's PLENTY of heat for a cat.Another reviewer complained about the controls not being in English, and there are two Chinese symbols at the bottom of the controller, but you really don't need to know what they mean (I don't) to use the heating pad. It's very user-friendly. If having the temperatures listed in Celsius bugs you, here's your cheat sheet (see pic). Copy this down on a piece of masking tape and stick it to the back of the controller, problem solved.I can't imagine the $40+ pet heating pads on amazon being any better than this one.

My puppy loves chewing on this and carrying it around. Great price and durable product.

Worked great for our Lab puppy

I had to give 3 stars, because even though I think this toy is a fantastic idea, my 8 week old mini golden retriever puppy just really doesn’t care for it. He is teething and I got this thinking it would be the holy grail. The problem is, in order to make a toy that truly freezes, but that won’t be ingested by effective chewers, they had to add an over 1/2 in thick layer of the rubbery substance on the outside to insulate the capsules that freeze. So doing makes this toy quite heavy, and a bit unproportional... (it seems more like a ball than a ring toy), and there is so much rubber insulation, my pup can barely fit his snoot inside and he’s only 10.2 lbs and his whole head fits in the palm of my hand. Also, I noticed that this toy is quite heavy for my pup to pick up, so he just chooses other toys. He’s completely disinterested with this one. Big let down.

This product is too big and heavy for a 9 week old puppy, hopefully can use it when she gets bigger.

My puppy was initially not taken with this toy. It turns out she just wasn't always in the mood for the cold. It's gotten to where I can tell when she's really needing the cold and she loves it.Pros: very durable and easy to clean/freezeCon: it doesn't stay cold very longI only let her chew this while it's cold and supervised. I don't think it would be as durable when not cold.

Great toy for teething puppies. My puppy loves the little grooves. The product did not have a manufacturing/chemical smell as others reported. The only thing I dont like about this product is that it does not stay cold or frozen for very long, about 10 minutes tops. Pretty durable, and just the right thickness for my medium-sized puppy. It may be a little small for large breeds.

Maybe ok for some dogs but unfortunately a waste of money for me as my dog won’t look at it .Trial in error
