ModelcraftSmall Multi-Clamp x 2, Pack of 1

Brilliant for modelling.

I had no idea whether these would work but I'd read good reviews about them in a couple of different websites and model-making magazines. Having used them on a model that I'm working on right now (a Tamiya Mosquito), I can confirm that these are bloody brilliant! They don't look like your normal clamp (whatever a "normal" clamp is) and they look as if they would snap as soon as any serious pressure was put on them but nothing could be further from the truth. They are unbelievably strong, and exert a pressure that you'll be surprised by! Having said that, they'll only put on as much pressure as you want them to as they are very responsive and act pretty much just like your fingers, and the pads on the end (not sure what they're made of, silicone perhaps?) are grippy enough not to slide off awkwardly shapes like the edge of a model airplane wing. I wish I'd known about these ages ago, and I'll definitely be buying more. 100% recommended.

Purchased to assist with model kit building. Item came well packaged and is easy to use. Have used so far on an Airfix 1/72 Vulcan build (which is a very "testing" kit). Clamps/supports well, while leaving your hands free.. Price/quality break seems spot on alsoNot much more to say, except a useful addition to a modeller's tool kit

An essential buy for anyone who’s trying to up their modelling skills and results. Very pleased with them. Going to get the larger ones next

Strange clamps to review, takes alittle getting used to but once you've got the hang of them then they are good clamps and give a good finger tight pressure.
