Worked ok but not as good as expected
Worked ok but I expected it to go harder than it did and although I left the the light on it for the 5 mins as stated it kept coming out of the chip so I left it for 10 mins and it seemed to be better but not as good as they make it out to beconsidering there are cheaper ones on the market I would have thought it would be better quality I would not be buying this again

Staring at it I thought: meh, but now I can't find where I fixed it, so WOW!
I had a 2mm x 5mm x 1mm deep chip in my granite countertop.I figured I'd give this a shot. The instructions were clear and well illustrated. But it takes some skills and practice. At first my repair left a little divut so I decided to add another layer to make it really flush.Sanding with the 220 grit was scary, but was not as bad as I expected. (I thought I'd have to wet sand with the 2500 grit and polish like a mad man, it was not the case)The more strenious part was that UV lights (2) that comes with it are supposed to have a lock button which keep them on, but for some reason I could not get it to work, so for 5 minutes, twice, I had to keep the button pressed which by the end made me realize my forearms had not seen the inside of a gym in a while. When staring directly at it, I was not very impressed by the result. I was thinking that the transparent nature of the filling compound made it visible that there was a hole, but you could no longer feel it. My first thought was "meh, better than nothing I suppose".Then I had diner and wanted to show my partner my fix. I could not find it. I inspected the countertop for a good 4 to 6 minutes, with a light, trying to find where the fix was. I eventually found it, but I figured if I just did the fix, knew were it was, and couldn't easilly spot it while looking for it, no one will ever notice it. And that's when my opinion changed from "meh" to "oh wow! That's actually a really good fix!".I highly recommend this product, but would recommend you get a UV flashlight that is easier to keep on for 5 minutes to go along with this kit :)

Excellent!
The product was very easy to use and the end result was excellent. The only thing that would make it better is to have a way to tint the substance with color to match the counter top. Otherwise, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Clear light cured repair kit, works just like dental fillings!
Interesting repair product with light cure material, it is pretty much exactly the same as how a dental composite resin works. After laying everything out and cleaning the chips in my bathroom sink (cultured marble), I attempted to fill it with the resin. The first time, I followed their recommendation exactly and used the clear strips, afterwards, I found that it was underfilled. So, the second time, I skipped the clear strip and just overfilled it, then sanded it down with the coarse grain to fine grain to polish paste and it was perfectly flush with the rest of the sink. So, I would suggest just eyeballing it and overfill it, because it takes very little time to sand it down.I actually liked this product and how it fills, but there are certainly a few drawbacks that I have to mention. First off, it's clear, so the chip is still visible, I know it would be impossible to color match everything and clear is probably the best option, but, it's just that the chipped spot is still clearly visible. Secondly, they only provided one microtip for a light cured product. If they expect you to reuse the tip, you would need to plug up the end of the tip with some silicone or dark tape (because you can't have the end light cure) and leave it on the product. Being the clutz that I am, I accidentally let the tip slip into the drain, luckily I had dental product tips from my bleaching kits (what luck!). I suggest the manufacturer add a few more tips in there.I attached my before and after photos.

Not as Easy as Expected
I’ve worked on several scratches, chips on my stone counters. I like that this comes as a kit; everything you need except the painters tape. I followed the instructions, but had issues with the filler coming off when I removed the tape. I started using both lights and doubled and then tripled the time. I found that the epoxy still felt a bit sticky. I worked on another couple spots and and this last time I didn’t use the painter tape and after curing with the lights let the epoxy cure by air overnight. Then it felt very hard and smooth and I could sand it without it coming off. The first two pictures show a before and after of a deep scratch; I can still see it, but it looks so much better than before repair. The last two are also a before/after that I still need to do more sanding on. The ones in between show a different chip that was a work in progress and the photo of the tape is showing how the epoxy came off when I removed the painters tape. I’m still glad I got this, but it takes more artistic work than I expected. I recommend taking your time and letting it cure overnight before sanding. That is use the UV lights for a good 15 minutes - and then overnight cure. My stone is soapstone which like marble is very soft.

Allows easy repair of small cracks, chips on countertops
My girlfriend dropped her bottle of perfume on the bathroom counter and it caused a broken chip on the side of the counter. It was super sharp and I was desperate for a solution before someone get cuts. I followed the steps to properly prepare the surface, I applied the solution, did all the steps and I am very satisfied with the result obtained. It almost doesn't show and when I clean the counter I don't feel it.Pros:• Allows you to repair broken chips on a variety of materials- All tools included to do the repairCons:• The clear/transparent repair material will fill the crack or chips but will not hide the imperfection, however it takes a trained eye to see it afterwards or to know that it is broken before
