Works well
This stuff is great! I used this on some wood stairs and on the step for our donkey forklifts. Both get slick in the rain and this product has made a big difference. I can’t speak to the durability yet as it’s only been on for a month or so. I definitely recommend it!

The best tape for outdoor concrete painted steps
So this is the 4th tape we’ve gotten and by far it has held up the best. I waited to do the review to see how it did after the rains and it held up. Hopefully it will last!

EXCELLENT Non-Slip For Stairs/Steps
I got this to apply to a "ramp" I built years ago from our breezeway to the kitchen.Initially, the ramp was plain plywood, but that was a bit too slippery. Then I went with a mix of paint & texture material. That started to wear off. I wiped down the ramp with a damp rag to remove dust/dirt, and applied this nicely abrasive/non-skid Gorilla tape.GOOD STUFF!

Works well enough; don't apply below freezing, and don't cut it with good scissors
This tape works quite well for the intended purpose. I don't yet know how long it will last, as I've only had it a few months. However, it's working well as a traction aid so far. The only reason I took off a star was due to value -- you can get similar results for much cheaper by using a sticky double-sided tape (3M makes great tape) and really rough sandpaper (think 36 grit and below). That's essentially what this gorilla tape is -- really rough sandpaper with some double sided tape! The adhesive on this tape seems good so far, although it doesn't feel nearly as tenacious as what you find on other Gorilla products, like their duct tape. It hasn't come off on me yet, though. Be careful what you use to cut this with -- being essentially a very rough sandpaper, it will dull your tools; I cut it with a disposable blade utility razor and that worked great. The rough and abrasive texture of this tape limits it to outdoor use for me -- I wouldn't want to walk on this barefoot, so I'm not sure why some people are using this in indoor and bathroom settings -- those people must be more manly than I.

Great for Slippery Surfaces
I have used this traction tape to provide stability on slippery rock surfaces. It does not adhere long term to rubber soles of shoes, but it is extremely good quality and effective on steps, stairs and near pool areas!

Not a good solution
Needed it to hold string of outdoor lights . Taped to aluminum pool cage. Once the hot sun hit it… . Failed after 30 minutes

Stairs saver
Used on our wooden deck stairs for slips elimination. Easy to apply. Stays put. Holding up pretty well to Canadian winter (snow shoveling).
