Review: Calisthenics, Mobility, and Weight loss/Muscle loss Prevention Tool that is great! - I have owned this product for almost 5.5 years. It is not the most used product in my inventory, but for Calisthenics, Mobility, and Weight loss/Muscle loss Prevention Tool it is great! For Calisthenics, this device gives you the ability to load any movement. Many of the other weight west that I own, or have used limit your movement in some way (bulky, floppy, obnoxious, etc. I can wear this under a shirt at the gym and it is minimally noticeable. I have worn it for weeks at a time under my daily clothes and no one notices, especially in the winter 😊. Due to the tight nature of the product advanced movements or training to advanced movements where body to surface or limb to body clearance is needed the weight is not in the way and never shifts. This allows you to confidently and incremental load progressive steps to achieve your Calisthenic and Mobility goals. For users who are looking to Manage their muscle loss during a cut or hard dieting, I find this vest allows me to “load as I lose”. Let me explain, I seasonally fluctuate training and eating habits, so my weight can move around 15- 20lbs a year. If I can do 5-6 anytime pull ups at 195lbs then at 170-175 I know my body on the ground in advanced movements get easy, pull ups get easy and much bigger sets, too. Applying the vest to your routine reminds you what its like and where you truly are. Another method I use Involves loading the vest incrementally in a cut back to my start weight. This helps me to keep the stimulus the same or increasing, instead of a decreasing load as bodyweight is lost in a cut. On the flip side in a bulk loading this to the max helps until it gets tight 😊. On that note I bought a medium and It fits well when thin, but when fluffy a large would be better. As far a quality is concerned it has been a great product, only shows normal wear and expected material wear. The biggest cons are Loading/Unloading weight, Cost, Adjustability. I try to always wear some type of undershirt under the vest. I have worn it with and it is do able, but any extended high energy session (long runs, burpees, etc.) and you might notice some chaffing. The other problem is cleaning, you cant just chunk it in the washer. Loading and Unloading the weights is necessary for a machine wash and is a time consuming process, but once you get in a rhythm its not that bad. The little weight tool works great as long as you have it…. You can insert and remove without it though. • I have rinsed and cleaned the vest without removing the weights but find the material tends to get stiffer (not hard just not soft). Even after this a machine wash softens it up and works great. This product was much less when I purchased it in 2020, although it was one of the most expensive. Another thought on Cost was the fixed size of the vest. I understand that the product needs to be in spec to accomplish the job it is doing. Just wish for more adjustability in the product. I like the product enough when skinny to really enjoy it, but at that price point can not justify a second one for fluffy times of the year.

I didn't know if I would use a weight vest consistently, so prior to this one I decided to try the Tone fitness one at 8lbs. That one goes over the head and sits at the waist, and I liked it a lot (some may not like the weight on the clavicle area though). Since that one is static weight, I decided to try this one once I decided I enjoyed using a weight vest. I liked that it used metal weights and was adjustable. I previously bought the Pro version via "used" on desertcart but when I got it it already had some tiny holes in it. I decided to fork out the money for the pro version and it feels MUCH more durable. I didn't get the other one they have designed for women because the weights are in 2.5 increments and are sand, as well as not as distributed over the torso/back - but that one did look nice at half the price. At the time of purchase, I was 156 lbs, 5'4", size 10/12 (woman) with a short torso. I got a medium and it fit with about 2-3 inches of cord. Its very compressive, which is great because I have shoulder pain and I noticed the weight didn't sit at my shoulders at all but very evenly distributed. No issue with the clip on the cord moving as older reviews state; the clip has been changed and is not the same as the picture. It doesn't budge. The logo is also white, not orange. 10 lbs is a nice weight for walking - it actually comes in closer to 11 lbs. I am not washing the vest, as taking and reinserting the weights would be tedious. I like that this is likely the last vest I will ever buy - as I get older, I can take weight out as needed. The packaging is pretty cheap - just a plain cardboard box, but I guess they save money on packaging. No hot spots on the best, but your mileage will vary depending on your body shape (and how it changes). I thought the corners in the armpit area would be annoying, but it's been fine. I wear it with a workout tank underneath for my walks. All in all, for durability, flexibility of weights, weight distribution, and value for those things,I think this is the best weight vest out there. I looked at others that seemed much cuter, but they were only a static 5lbs (and pricier!) and that wasn't going to cut it for me.

A: A large should work for you. I was 232 and am down to 210 and still can fit it. I just wore mine this morning.
