Great product.
Strong punchy flavour, the tastiest Kimchi about. Once tried you'll be back for more. Does wonders for gut health too.

It's life Jim, but not as we know it!
For some time, I developed a love of kimchi and started home making batches of it, until I realised that the vitamin K in cabbage messes with a medication that I need to take. I can eat some, but certainly not nearly every day, as I was. I now normally buy the odd jar from a different brand, but as that wasn't in stock, I thought I would try this one. Certainly it has a taste of kimchi about it, but there is also a slightly sweet taste to it that I can't identify, like corn syrup or something. I will finish the jar (it isn't too disgusting), but certainly I won't be buying any more of this one. It seems odd to me that with a food that has existed for thousands of years, somebody suddenly comes up with a different recipe. I realise that foods do evolve, but I enjoy the traditional version, not this one.

Tasty but not authentic
Very nice and surprisingly spicy but it's too vinegary to be authentic. Also the cabbage is shredded into tiny pieces rather than whole like in japenese kimchi.

Surprisingly tasty
I wasn't sure what to expect because I'd never had it before, it makes surprisingly tasty sandwiches and salads.

Not Kimchi
This product is not in any way kimchi. It is slightly spicy, watery sauerkraut.

This is not Kimchi
It tastes nothing like Kimchi - more like some cabbage floating in some brine. No spiciness of proper flavour, also the cabbage wasn't really crunchy

Our household's favourite brand
After trying a few brands, Biona' s kimchi is our household's favourite. It's really tasty, lovely falvour with a very balanced spice level, a natural probiotic that we love adding to salads or as a side.
