I bought this as a back up. First impression: feels solid, The connector ports are decently sized and easy to get to. There is a port for an Ethernet cable and one for a temp sensor. I botany use a Epever 5415an and that has a port for the load that is different than the load ports near the battery and pv inputs. I find the lcd fine but I prefer using a remote MT50 controller and that would t talk to this SCC. It says you can connect through an app or a PC. I only use Mac. I hooked it up to my system and it all appears to work just like my main Epever SCC. It has a cooling fan on the top. For 1000w input, this seems like a good value.
