Great for sighting my rifle scope
I have one for each of my guns with scopes. They work great some people complaint about the laser light not being bright enough. I have never had that issue. It's very easy to do, just load the batteries put it in your gun like you do when you have real ammo. The laser comes on as soon as you load the batteries. Then you set your gun on a gun vise if you one. Next have a target setup at about 25 yards or more It's up to you, it is recommended to do 25 yards. Point at the target on the bulls eye with the laser then adjust your scope cross hairs so they come to a cross right on the bulls eye and the laser light. Then you just unload it from your gun and load real ammo, start shooting at your target and see if it's correct if not go back and do the laser again. It really works and it's so easy. I take mine with me anytime I go hunting or just target practice just in case my scope needs to be readjusted. I really recommend this and I got mine in two days. It's a very good product. You can't beat the price on Amazon, if you go to a hunting store you will pay double or more for the same thing. Last thing just make sure that you order the right caliber for your rifle or pistol.

Pleased with laser sighting tool, but needs a better on off system.
the laser sighting tool works as describes. I was very close sighting my red dot with it.I took 1 star away since there is no power switch. you have to remove the batteries to turn the laser off.

Pretty good unit
I bought this to help sight in my 1974 Remington 700 BDL 30.06. With ammunition between $1.50- $4.00 dollars per round, I felt I could save money using this boresight even after seeing many reviews with only one star rated. An $18 range fee is the same as this boresight cost. I received the unit yesterday and immediately checked to see if the laser worked. It did. Be careful unpackaging because the batteries are very small even for a 30.06. I dropped one and had trouble locating it. The correct way to install the batteries is engraved on the side of the laser. There is paper in the battery chamber. I pulled the paper out but the laser wouldn’t turn on, so I left one battery in, put the paper in, then the other two batteries, and voila! Now I have a working laser. Remove one battery so the unit is off until you use it as it does not have an on and off switch. I printed out a bulls eye target out on 8 ½ x 11 paper. The diameter of the outer circle was nearly 7”. I measured out 100 yds exactly at my place and built a rest for my gun and looked through the chamber with the bolt out until I could see the paper through it, and waited for dusk. At dusk, I put the batteries together to turn on the laser, and then chambered it into the rifle. You have to wiggle it to get it in the chamber since it does not have a point like a live round would. Be gentle with it. After getting the laser into the chamber, I gently pushed the bolt forward until I could lock it down. Then I looked through my 3.5-10x power Nikon Monarch UCC 50mm scope and the laser was within view at 10x, and actually was on that paper! I adjusted my scope until the red dot was centered on the bulls eye. I was amazed that I could see the red dot at 100 yds and it covered only about 2” of that target. I was thrilled! I ejected the laser like a real bullet. Be careful to catch it. I put it back in and did another adjusting of my scope as it was off over 7” down and to the right. I repeated this procedure turning the laser about 45 degrees each time and adjusting. Finally, it seemed to be pretty true each time I turned it. As light became limited, I found out that the laser was illuminating the bullseye! I could not see the bullseye without the laser on! I am at this point now. I will do the same adjusting tomorrow night to see if I get the same results. Then I will venture to shoot a round to see if this matches up. That is the true test and I will post my final results.

This thing is great.
Worked perfectly in my Hellcat micro 9mm. The fit in the chamber was snug but didn’t get stuck or require any kind of extraction effort. Sure, you have to remove the batteries, who cares. Did what I needed to do in about 15 minutes, then removed the batteries and put it right back in the packaging it came in. I will keep it in my field bag, and who knows when I will need to use it again. For under $20, what more could you ask for?

Flimsy packaging. No storage case
It should come with a storage case, like sight mark bore laser. The flimsy plastic it is shipped in does not provide adequate protection of the device. You will need to provide a safe space in your range bag. The device itself seems to work well.

Good Bore Sight
Easy to use. I was able to align my sights, just haven’t been able to go shoot to verify accuracy. It’s a good fit and good quality for the price paid.
