Good product, compact and perfect for small families. Installation was done very smoothly, the installation engineer was very supportive. However, installation engineer did not peovide the complete picture before installing. After installing the geyser, there is constant water dripping in one of the bathrooms and he did not come to rectify that.

INSTALLATION SERVICE IS A COMPLETE DISASTER. AVOID! I purchased the AO Smith EWS-5 White Instant Geyser (5 Litre) with high expectations, as the product itself seems well-made. However, the mandatory installation service provided by AO Smith/their partners is an utter failure and has completely ruined the purchase experience. The Core Problem: Zero Service and Coordination Delivery was fine (October 12th), but installation has not happened. There is zero proactive communication from AO Smith regarding scheduling. Tracking is broken. The link provided for installation status does not work, and the request is untraceable in the app. The Run-Around: When I called customer care (on October 13th and again today, October 15th) to expedite the service because I travel on the 17th, I was given a single contact number for a service provider. Non-Responsive Technician: The number provided is useless. The person either never answers or immediately disconnects the call. Customer Care is Unhelpful: After reporting the technician's number was non-responsive, I called customer care again today, and they simply gave me the exact same number, showing zero effort to resolve the issue, assign a new technician, or escalate the problem. They just gave me number of their regional manager and told me to follow, shifting responsibility on me. This lack of professionalism, organization, and accountability has left me with an unusable product and created major stress right before a scheduled trip. If you rely on AO Smith's included installation, be warned: you will be left stranded. Do not buy this product if you depend on their installation service. Update (Oct 15th): I have a firm deadline of October 16th to travel, and the geyser remains uninstalled and unusable. The service system is completely broken.

I've been using this AO Smith 5-litre geyser for a few months now, and I’m quite impressed with its performance. Absolutely great product. AO Smith geysers are known for their longevity. Water is very well heated in about 4-5 minutes. The installation was smooth and seamless. All in all, it is a good product and definitely a recommended one. From my experience with AO smith, their geysers generally last for almost 15 years with good use. The litre heats up within half a minute. That is also an incredible product.

The product is defective and unsafe. From the very first installation attempt, there has been continuous water leakage when powered on from the water input point of the unit. This is extremely concerning because water leakage in an electrical appliance poses a serious risk of electric shock and is potentially life-threatening for my family. Company gave me reason of solar panel back pressure etc. but I am of not satisfied because other company products are not leaking under the same water pressure condition at my home. To bring an important point to your attention, I have another geyser installed in a separate bathroom from a different company. Under the exact same water pressure conditions, that unit is functioning perfectly without any leakage. This clearly indicates that the issue lies with the AO Smith product and not with the water pressure or plumbing setup. This situation has caused me serious concern and has significantly impacted my trust in the AO Smith brand. I did not expect such poor performance and service from a company of its standing.
