How to apply Renovo Ultra Proofer We recommend that you first use the Renovo Cleaner and Reviver products to rejuvenate tired hoods or restore seriously dirty or sun-damaged hoods, though Renovo Ultra Proofer can be used on its own to periodically restore the excellent protective barrier. Mask off all windows and/or bodywork prior to application of Renovo Ultraproofer. Apply a coat of Renovo Ultra Proofer using a two-inch wide nylon paint brush, starting at the front centre of the canvas and working methodically side to side and backwards to the rear. If you drip any of the Renovo Ultra Proofer onto windows or paintwork, don't worry, simply remove immediately with a damp cloth. Do not allow it to dry. Allow the fabric to dry naturally for at least 24 hours before folding the fabric. The 'water bead test' will determine the condition of the protection. If the water rolls off in beads, even when wet, then there is good protection.
