- Concrete Color Powder Instructions for use: When the cement is in powder form, there is no mortar to mix. At this point, you can add pigment powder as follows: 1. Calculate the amount of pigment powder to be added according to the pigment powder: cement = 1:25; 2. Wear gloves and a mask; 3. Pour the pigment powder into the cement. 4. Evenly mix cement and pigment powder. 5. Mix cement and pigment powder with mortar.

Very bright pink

This is a pretty dye. Definitely rosey vs the bright pink that it looks like in the bottle. I will say, it stains EVERYTHING. I used 3% and my silicone molds are all hot pink now. I normally use Globmarble or Direct Colors and have never had any stain my molds like this. It also ended up coming out splotchy after they set.

More of a hot pink than red, but that’s what I wanted. My testing: smears from right to left on edge of bowl are 1 tsp grout to 1/4 tsp color, then 2 tsps and 3 tsps (all 1/4 tsp color). When everything is dry, I’ll select the one I like best for my project, which is a small mosaic. My base grout was alabaster unsanded. If you want to get to a particular shade, TEST TEST TEST! There’s no reason to do your whole project and then be disappointed because you didn’t test. The color is vivid and mixed easily, which is exactly what I wanted.
