We were looking for a quiet, attractive clock to place on a bookcase. This is it!Quiet really matters to me, and this Howard Miller clock is very quiet. I can read at 2 AM and not hear the sound of ticking.And it's attractive and easy to read. Plus it has a second hand.

So often items looks great in pictures only to disappoint once they arrive. Not this clock. It is beautiful in person, heavy and looks very expensive. It does make a soft ticking sound as the description indicates but it’s not bad.

Wonderful, classy clock. Works great for my office. Many comments about it from clients. Completely quiet. No ticking sound at all. Sturdy. Beautiful.

I’m not visually challenged, however I found this clock difficult to read.
