It saved my marriage!!!
I bought it dec 30 2020. The battery is still going strong. The is sounds like you are in the middle of the movie. some times I look around thinking the sound is coming from around the house. My brother bought a Bose for 4 times the price. the only difference is these sonny have lasted longer with no issues. Love them and I would buy them again. I don't drive the wife nuts anymore with the volume on the tv set at 30. Great for gaming they sound real. great for music also. only bad the on off switch is acting up, My fault its from over using them. They recharge in less than 20 minutes. I use the for over 20 hours a day. sometimes longer when playing on line. love them.

THAT IT WORKS
I'm a senior and very hard of hearing so I wear earphones for that purpose. I have always purchased Sony because they have done so well for me, (and I can't afford Bose) but these are crystal clear hearing and I can't tell you how much that means to me. I hear every word and understand what they are saying. I live in them to watch TV bc I have the new TV programs that can be streamed WITHOUT COMMERCIALS. I wouldn't watch TV if I had to listen to the endless commercials. You get 10 minutes of program and 3 to 7 minutes of commercials. They have also figured out how to put MORE commercials on. Also, with streaming I get ALL of my programs. Who needs to pay so much for TV with endless commercials. I'm a happy camper.

Replaced Old Pair
I bought these to replace an old pair that still worked but need ear pads and a battery. They were twice the price! I was skeptical that they would not be satisfactory becuz of many bad reviews...plus I did not care for the shape of the ear pads. I had really enjoyed the first ones I got.... so I was hoping. They take FOREVER to charge, but you can use standard rechargable triple aaa's if them if you get impatient.Once charged, the sound is quite good. They are supposed to hold a 20 hour charge. So far I have hooked them up to the TV,laptop, android galaxy phone and a tablet and they work good on all of them. These cans get the job done and are worth the investment...

Unusable with my PC due to interferance.
No matter where I've tried placing the base I can't get a good clear signal without pretty frequent pops and noise. I do have an extensive PC / workspace setup but with just WiFi, my PC, some monitors, and some elgato key lights running there isn't a place I can put myself or the transmitter that gives clear audio. Also, for Sony headphones, the bass response is a bit low. Perhaps I'm spoiled by my Sony Wired/Bluetooth headphones (WH-CH710N) which have great bass and sound quality but these RF headphones sound a bit flat compared with an identical source in the other headphones. I'll probably be mainly sticking to the wired setup with an extension cable for typical use when I need to move around my big L desk more and use these RF headphones for when I truly need more range. These are pretty comfortable and are great in nearly every other respect I just wish I could get less interference with them.

Saving my household.
As much as I hate to admit it, I have a hard time hearing the dialog when watching television. When I'm home alone I can pump the audio through the home theater sound system and when the "Deathstar" explodes, the windows rattle and the neighbors know I'm home. However, in the evening when other household members are trying to sleep or study (or hear themselves think) these headphones are great for keeping the peace and helping me to enjoy the soundtrack to whatever I'm watching. This is my first purchase of such a bit of gadgetry. The sound quality is good. I can hear and understand the dialog. Music sounds good and weapons fire and detonations of all sorts have a full sound to them. There are other products like this out there at various prices. I chose these because of brand familiarity and price point. The best way to optimize the sound quality and level I have found is to set the headphone volume at about 50% and then bring up the level from the audio source. "Maxxing out" the headphone volume introduces too much hiss. Great product, glad I got it.

My favorite head phones.
I have an older model of this. Improvements are quite noticeable. Greater volume,. frequency selection in the form of voice or music, the use of charging blades rather than buttons, more comfortable, replaceable foam pads. I just like this better than any of the 6 sets of other brands that I've used over the years beginning with those that required wire connections. My first set I got from Texas' hearing assist programs and with a discount cost over $600. I am more than pleased because now I can actually hear the dialogue rather than the music and background noise that all movies and TV shows are plagued with nowadays Too bad people in movies can't talk together without WHAM! BAM! BANG!! CRASH!! KABLOOEY!!. exploding in the background along with music louder than an a-bomb. "Oh darling, I love you even more than I do my dog." WHAM!! Kettle drums going full blast. This head set tones down the explosions.

OK for the price
I found the volume control to be very sensitive, the ear pads a little too firm and when placing the headphones on the charger there is notin I found to show whetere they are hung properly for charging. The charge indicator is green when fully charged but it's red both when charging and when the phones are hung incorrectly.' I have no rela issues otherwise with the dound quality. I replaced a pair of Sennheiser headphones which were superior in quality and cost more than twice as much.

good value for price
This item looks nice and has a somewhat stylish base. The sound is decent but there are always other headset models that will give a better quality sound. Over all if you are looking for a headset that works with your TV for mostly voice listening than these are great. Not sure about battery life as I have not used mine enough to comment on that issue. Only real down side was the feel of the set when your wearing them, not the most comfortable headset to wear. Also look for the red light on the base unit when you put them back on the charger. The will look like they are mounted on the base correctly but might not be charging.

Great Headphones --loud enough for hearing impaired
This is my 2nd pair of Sony wireless headphones. My first lasted over 15 years with daily use. I am hearing impaired and these are perfect for me! They hook up is easy, if you have red and white output jacks. I had to go to my nearest electronic store to get an adaptor because my 9 year old Samsung 8000 TV only had red and white input jacks....not output jacks. The kit cost me approx. $35 with tax. I think the headphones are wonderful, but one small improvement could be that Sony should mark more clearly (from the outside, perhaps with a red dot) which earphone is right and which is left....as they did in my older pair. I am very happy with my purchase. JG.
