This is my favorite brace to use for my ankle. I have Achilles tendinitis in one of my ankles. I also sprained that same ankle last year, so now that ankle will occasionally swell and hurt. This brace has been my go-to for stabilizing my ankle whenever it starts to flare up, and helps tremendously. It’s pretty comfortable too: I can wear it to bed, to work, for a walk, etc. and it not bother me. I recently bought a replacement for the one I had been using for several years. It’s been durable, easy to wash, and stretches comfortably. I definitely recommend this brace.

I really do love the heavy duty support that i get while using this. I have it to wrap around my foot and ankle to give extra support from an achilles injury a couple of years ago that never healed correctly and also from a broken foot years ago in MMA. This helps my foot from locking up randomly and the pain control is fantastic compared to not having this at all. THANK YOU FOR AN AWESOME PRODUCT :)

I went thru a bout of pf so severe I could barely stand. MD said to stay off feet but not having a retinue of servants to wait on me and the family that wasn’t an option! These wraps are amazing for their support and you can wrap them just the way you like once you decide the best positioning. Downside is they are elastic and elastic wears quickly and loses its spring. Also, the velcro picks up and gets ratty but this doesn’t affect the velcro’s ability to grip. Wearing these for several months helped me heal completely and I would recommend them without hesitation. They are far more effective than the half sock type that may cut off circulation. I still wrap while gardening or working on hard surfaces to avoid relapse.

I broke my foot in 2 places and ("Ace bandages") to replace the ones that the hospital initially placed on me for my splint. Needed something that could be washed and was at least as good as hospital quality so that they could be washed. This bandage has great quality fabric, excellent adhesion and sturdy construction around the velcro area, and very easy to put on. The cons: Not nearly long enough for me (I should have paid more attention to specs). Given it's shorter length, and only 1 in the package, it is a little pricey for me. Bought others that came in multi pack that are longer. But this one will do in a "pinch" and will definitely survive the washing machine unlike some of the cheap bandages I have bought in the past (that fall apart and lose elasticity after one washing).

Disappointed with this product

Once you get the hang of wrapping for your particular injury, this is the most comfortable wrap ever. It’s stretchy, soft and supportive, and the velcro is strong. Yes, the velcro causes some pilling on the fabric, but that can be pulled off. It fits well into different shoes, even my beloved Dansko clogs. I’m dealing with a 6 month (so far) case of plantar fasciitis and a PF tear, and injections, and this wrap is very supportive and soothing. I’ve tried many types of wraps and sleeves and this is so far my favorite.

*Update:* I have been using these new ones for 3 months and find they are inferior to the previous ones. The Velcro on the tab is not all the way to the end so it keeps turning up and getting stuck to other things. Where you attach the Velcro to the ribbed stretchy material it has all pilled and has a lot of fuzz. The price of these has tripled since I started purchasing them, but I expected the quality to be the same, it is not. I am now using duct tape to insure the wrap stays on. I am changing my stars to a 1. These are definitely not worth the price. I started using these about 8 years ago as belly bands on my 2 male Italian Greyhounds. They are nice and stretchy, holds a half of an incontinence pad and wash easily. The Velcro holds the band securely and they can be used repetitively. It is soft so no chaffing or hair loss. It is easy to put on and take off. I love how they stop my boys from marking furniture and rugs. I do cut them to a smaller length but so easy to turn over and stitch either by hand or machine. They have worked excellent for my purpose.
