The lamp provides great level of brightness which is dimmable. Easy to assemble. Customer service with the manufacture is good. Recommend this for someone who wants a lamp with the ability to provide brightness to any room.

My lamp arrived a day early and I’ve used it for two nights so far. Unpacking was a bit tedious, but it had to be securely packaged, so no big issue there. Assembly was a breeze, took about 10 minutes. The trickiest part was folding extra cord near the top and stuffing it into a portion of the pole. Again, not much of a problem as it just took a little patience.The design is similar to two lamps I bought over the past few years, both made by another manufacturer. Those lamps both disappointed me in terms of longevity, although both cost much more than this BoostArea product. One of those previously-purchased units worked for under a year before it failed and in both cases the retailer and the company that made the products couldn’t or wouldn’t make repairs.This one doesn’t seem quite as sturdy as the others I own. I agree with other customers who expressed concern that the switch seems a little flimsy. But as long as it works, I’m happy.It’s good-looking and bright enough to illuminate my 225-square-foot living room as the light reflects off the white ceiling. Due to my bad experiences with previous lamps—again, made by a different manufacturer—I bought the extended warranty for 10 bucks. I figure I already spent much less on this lamp than its predecessors and I’m now covered for four years. If it continues to work for that long as well as it does now, I will be getting excellent value and all the light I need.Based upon my first couple of nights, I would recommend this lamp.

I bought this for my elderly father who is vision impaired and very light sensitive. This lights up the room nicely with indirect light reflected from the ceiling without the bright glare that bothers him. He loves it. It was fairly easy to assemble and appears to be well made. It's too soon to tell how long it will last.Update: This lamp deserves a 5 star rating however I changed it to 4 stars due to an issue that could be easily fixed. The knob on the switch is quit flimsy and only lasted a month before it stripped out and fell off. I'll eather need to glue it on with epoxy or find a knob at the hardware store that will work. Other than that one item the lamp works well.

Quality for price, easy Assembly, Good Indirect Lighting

This BoostArea Torchiere Floor Lamp Gold, 24W Super Bright LED Standing Lamp is very bright for all the power it uses.This replaces an old Halogen torchier floor lamp that the base and tubing would no longer stay connected together.In the corner of a of a 180 square foot room, it will completely light the room when set to about 75% of the full brightness with dimmer switch.It is very easy to assemble, closely follow the directions for folding and tucking the wire from the first to second section of the lamps tubing, it folds and tucks into the upper (first) section of tubing quite easily, it is not made to fold into the second section.I am very pleased with the lamp and it's simple assembly and operation.I would definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn't want a remote control or a lamp that requires a wall-mount transformer power supply that will waste energy and generate heat even if the lamp it turned off.

We are replacing a floor lamp that has seen better days. The package arrived on time, and was easy to assemble. Because the light is adjustable, I am looking forward to reading, watching TV, and maybe even catching a nap by this lamp.

Extremely bright uplight. I read at night and this lights up my pages well enough to read by, and being an uplight there is no glare. Completely dimable. I turn it to the lowest setting and we use it for a night light. I like that the switch is part way down the pole. I can reach the switch from my chair. The only problem I have found is that I think it has one section too many, and you can't leave out or remove a section. It would also work better if the base was a larger diameter. It really is somewhat wobbly. I would not use if I had pets or small children. It would constantly be knocked over.

Read the assembly instructions before starting! Not difficult, but adjusting the wiring correctly is a must.

Esta genial solo hay que tomar unos minutos para que la primera unión de la base quede bien recta y asi ya que se unan todas las piezas quede derecha la lampara. El dimmer manual funciona perfecto para dar la intensidad que uno quiera.
