1.9-Inch Large Ice Cube Molds, 2-Pack Round Ice Ball Molds

I’ve been using these ice sphere molds for a bit now and I really like them. The size of the ice balls is perfect, especially for whiskey or any drink where you don’t want the ice to melt too fast. They look great in the glass and definitely feel more premium than regular ice cubes. The molds are easy to fill, and once frozen, the ice comes out without much effort. I like that they seal well, so there’s minimal leaking when placing them in the freezer. The silicone material feels solid and durable, not flimsy or cheap. Freezing time is normal, and the ice comes out clear enough and well-shaped. Cleaning them is also simple—just rinse and they’re ready to use again. Overall, these are a great addition for home drinks. Simple, functional, and they do exactly what they’re supposed to do. I’d definitely recommend them if you enjoy drinks with large ice spheres.

Exactly what I needed! I bought this so that I can make the "water drops" for a water cake recipe I want to make soon. I haven't made the cake yet, but I did test the trays and the ice spheres turned out perfect. The instructions were very clear, the trays are easy to use and it took minimal effort to release the ice from the tray. This set includes 2 sphere ice trays(4 pieces total, top and bottom per tray set), a storage bin and lid for the ice and small tongs for sanitary handling. I love that the trays and tongs can stack neatly inside the storage bin when not in use. I am quite happy with my purchase and I'm looking forward to making the water cake. Definitely recommend this item.

I have had a few different kinds of round ice making devices but this is the best by far. Super super easy and they make awesome round ice cubes. Very happy with my purchase

Trays work as should, easy to open and remove the ice. I would have rated 5 stars, however, the storage container lid was broken when package arrived.

I bought these as a replacement for another set of ice molds I was using, and these are a definite upgrade. The mold comes apart in two pieces and doesn't have any nooks or crannies so it's pretty easy to fill, use, and clean. The bottom half is the part you fill, and there's a line around on the inside to show where you fill it to. Placing the top portion can be messy because if you press down too quickly, water will squirt out of the top through the holes that let the air out. I just fill it in my sink and that contains any water that may come out. You also need to make sure you place them in your freezer flat. They don't leak out of the edges, but water will come out of the aforementioned air holes and then your spheres won't be round. The frozen spheres come out pretty easily as well. I give it a gentle twist before I open it, then pull the lid off slowly. If the spheres stick to the top of the mold, give it another little twist and they'll release into the bottom. The tongs that come with the mold are kinda useless for these as they're too small to fit around the spheres. I found a use for them in other things, they're pretty good as far as ice tongs go. They just don't fit the ice that comes out of this mold. As far as the size of the spheres, they're perfect for what I wanted them for. They're small enough to fit into my water bottle (32oz hydro flask if you're looking for a comparison) and travel coffee mug, and they last a lot longer than regular ice. I usually still have a bit left from them at the end of the day. I didn't buy them to drink whiskey so someone else will have to comment on how well they work for that. Overall, I think they're worth the price and I'm glad I switched brands.

ATTENTION!! ATTENTION!! All my whiskey and bourbon drinkers this is the ice mold for you!! I have been looking for several months for an affordable large round ice mold. I settled on 2 single large round ice molds. I even considered the electric mini round ice maker for over $200. Thank goodness I knew there had to be a better option. This large round ice try mold meets all my expectations. Large, clear round ice cubes at an affordable price. One of my best purchases this year! I am totally satisfied with this product and at a super affordable price!! Trust me when I tell you. This is the large round ice mold you need. On my next batch I plan on putting in a small leaf of mint for visual pop!!

To be fair, the product description doesn't explicitly claim this mold makes "clear ice." It does, however, market itself as a great gift for "someone who loves drinking whiskey." Whether this works for you depends entirely on where you are in your spirits journey. If you are a casual drinker who just wants a large, slow-melting ice sphere to replace quickly melting cubes, this tray is easy to fill and produces a decently round shape. The size is close enough to the description. If 1.9 inches is to big or to small for you, move on. However, if you are an enthusiast looking to pair your finest pours with crystal-clear ice that fades from view, this mold falls short. Because it is sealed at the bottom, water freezes from the outside inward, trapping all dissolved minerals and air bubbles into a dense, heavily clouded core (as seen in my photos). To achieve true clarity, ice needs to freeze directionally into an open water reserve. This tray can work as a foundation for that, but only if you are willing to modify it. You would need to DIY your own system by drilling drainage holes in the bottom of the mold, creating a stand to suspend it, and placing it inside an insulated base tank. If you aren't looking for a custom engineering project, you will save yourself a lot of time by bypassing standard trays like this and buying a dedicated clear ice system that works right out of the box.

The round ice cube trays make the perfect ice cube, Easy to fill and dispense. The storage container lid doesn't stay closed making it unusable since the lid doesn't stay closed the ice gets freezer smell.

Excellent

The water leaks out and only forms half a ball. Not recommended at all.

Love this ice maker! So easy to keep the ice box full and have ice ready on hand for whatever drink you choose. The spheres are great for my morning iced lattes.
