Even though this deodorant has zero aluminum content, it’s very effective at completely keeping odor and moderate wetness away for the entire day once applied. I’ve never noticed any skin irritation. Overall I feel the quality of this product is superb because its protection level lasts. Also the lavender scent is natural, not too sweet, and not strong at all.

Smells great, works great. Doesn't stop you from sweating, yet stops you from stinking and that's exactly what it's supposed to do.

Smells just like Fruit Loops. Lol. In a good way though. As with all non-clogging aka non-aluminum, non-powder-based deodorants, you have to find the oils that work for your sweat profile. Certain Toms work better for me than others. On a hot or busy day keep an extra in the desk at work or in the car and just reapply halfway through the day. (Preferably wipe a single hand/body wipe beforehand if possible.) A simple task to avoid plugging harsh things into your pores. We already might not have the best diets, so any little thing helps. Balance. I stay fresh and ppl are surprised when I said I stopped using harsher deodorants many years ago. There's ppl who use the popular brands and still smell, so-- hey. Lol.

Smells nice and glides on easily. I can't speak to sweating resistance because it's winter and that's not an issue. I'll revisit this in our new-normal excessively hot summer.

Happy to have found an effective, natural, gentle deodorant with no coconut oil or baking soda. Fragrance is lovely - present, but not overpowering.

I don't sweat much (I'm a woman) so this works GREAT for me! It absorbs perfect after a couple minutes, I can't smell the smell throughout the day so it's not strong of a smell. But it definitely masks my underarm smell! Not that theres much anyways but I love this. It doesn't stain my clothes either WHICH WE LOVE! Love the way it feels after I put it on and absorbs just like that.

I truly wanted to allow this deodorant to prove itself because of my long time use of Tom's of Maine and the natural approach of their products which I always appreciated. Sadly, the Mountain Spring aluminum-free deodorant was nothing but a complete disappointment from start to finish. A couple of hours after putting it on, my armpits began to sting and itch, and by the end of the day, my skin was very red and inflamed. I have never experienced this with their previous formulations, so it is clear that some component in the newer version is causing the issue for me. The overall experience of the product feels like it has hit a decline. The rougher application and pulling at the skin instead of the hoped for easy glide are the main points of comparison that can be drawn between the two products. Also, the product is more likely to leave a mark than the company admits, so its “goes on clear, stays clear” claim is very misleading. On top of that, the protection against odor and wetness is next to zero. By noon I was feeling as though I had never applied anything, and this is precisely the point where the use of deodorant becomes pointless. The fragrance is less potent and less pleasant than in the case of the earlier Tom’s products with which I had contact. The whole thing was a gift that took back. Skin irritation and lack of performance make it impossible for me to recommend this deodorant and I shall not buy it again.

PROS: I liked how smooth the application was. It didn't leave residue on my clothes, and it smelled good. CONS: The effect didn't last as long as I would've liked, I could smell myself after a few hours of use. The deodorant didn't help with sweat resistance, although that could be due to the 90-degree weather I was experiencing at the height of summer. ****I also accidentally gave myself a chemical burn while using this deodorant with NATURIUM'S SMOOTHER GLYCOLIC ACID BODY WASH. I was fine using the deodorant for 3-4 weeks until I started to notice how dark my armpits were getting. My armpits turned black, and the skin was dry and flaky. Once I stopped using the deodorant, the dark skin under my armpits peeled and went back to its normal color.
