I order this monthly and a very pleased with it. Good value for money compared to supermarkets and smells lovely gives the added reassurance that you will have less water in your iron.

This ironing water does exactly what it should. It helps create a nice steam and makes the iron move smoothly over fabrics. I also like the fragrance – it’s light and fresh, not too strong. Clothes smell nice after ironing which is a lovely extra touch.

Living in an area with extremely hard water means that kettles, coffee makers and irons do not live long without good care. For the iron, Comfort Vaporesse means that limescale gets nowhere near the appliance so, unlike kettles and coffee makers, it is never necessary to descale. Having used tap water in the past I found that the chalky deposits would soon build up in the iron and be spread onto clothes. It was then necessary to use the descaling feature of the iron, sometimes to little effect. Eventually that iron gave up. No such issues using this product and, in addition to allowing steam for your clothes without residues, Vaporesse smells great as well. It's fair to say that paying for what is effectively water with a little scent is not ideal but it really does improve the ironing experience by some margin if hard water is an issue in your area. The price here is reasonable in comparison with shops and even if buying in bulk does not reduce the price, it is sensible to do so to reduce the number of orders you make.

The liquid was never delivered as Amazon cancelled it during transit. I got a refund but no replacement was sent. However, having used the product before, it is a lovely, if not essential addition to a steam generator. Smells beautiful and infuses your clothes with fragrance.
