WORKS GREAT, JUST WHAT I NEEDED

Works well for center finding, but not well finished.
Accurate for square and round stock. I do not have or use hex or oct stocks, so no rating for those applications. Thickness, weight, and visibility are all good. Won't last forever being made of moulded hard plastic, but is sturdy enough for moderate to heavy use if handled with care. Mine came with several sharp plastic edges (result of 2 piece injection moulding) which had to be shaved/sanded off before use. Just a bit more production care would get this a 5 star for hobby and small shop turners.

Bought for new Woodturner (wife!). I have had one for years and highly recommend as a useful tool near lathe. Saves time and hassle finding centers.

Great tool
I occasionally need this or something similar. I bought the "Robert Larson" version 1st, I really liked it but I misplaced it so I bought this replacement. So for $6US, I got a very nice, useful tool that has already worked great a number of times. Its simple, it works, & its inexpensive. I recommend it. So of course since I bought a replacement the 1st one turned up, right? Its the same so I have 2 now. It is really quick & easy to use. Either one is a great tool, specially for the price. If you need a center finder I recommend this. I would buy again if needed.
