I love this water filtering unit. Filters last a long time. Only problem is it gets heavy.

These use biodegradable charcoal filters that don't use any more plastic. I love that! The top also has a tester that lets you know when you need to replace that filter making it super simple to ensure you're getting the best quality water.And I did a double blind test on that.I had my girlfriend fill up three identical cups with: tap water, my sink filter water, and the Brita water.I could instantly tell which was the tap water but it was hard to tell the difference between my expensive under sink triple stage filter and the Brita. My under sink filter did win out but it was close. The taste, or more accurately the lack of taste, from the Brita is very impressive for a simple pour water in and wait filter and the sensor in the top is a great extra.

As you can see in the following picture, there is a crack on both sides next to the handle. It was there when I first open - so I suppose the shipping was rough. Still functional, and never had a problem with it.

I’ve had Brita filters before and they are consistently good products. This one is no exception.It’s very simple to set up and begin using immediately. I would recommend dumping the first couple pitchers off water produced after installing a new filter. That way any carbon dust or food preservative will all be rinsed out.The water tastes very good. Not nearly as good as a reverse osmosis unit, but definitely a noticeable reduction in chlorine smell and taste.It fills pretty fast and the size is nice.

The plastic is so thin compared to my old Brita pitcher. The refillable filter lasted two weeks. Not a good choice. I will stick with my Zero Water Pitcher and filters. Now I have a crappy plastic pitcher that will eventual break because its junk.

I don’t usually get water filter system cause the water still tastes funny to me so I usually get bottled spring water but with this I’ve saved so much money the water tastes amazing 10/10
