One small drawback is that the whistle item for the letter “W” is distracting—every time a student finds it, they blow it. If you’re using this in a classroom setting, it might be better to swap the whistle for a different item. Overall, this is a solid classroom tool for letter practice and small-group activities.

This mystery box game is so much fun! The board is really colorful and I love that the capital letters are on one side and the lowercase letters are on the other so kids get to match the items to both. The toys that the game comes with for each letter are pretty much good choices and they're really cute as well. I also love that I can add my own items to the box to change it up from time to time. The board is nice and big but because it folds up to be stored you might want to be more careful folding and unfolding so it doesn't tear. We'll see how durable it turns out to be with frequent use. But its a really fun, educational game so far.

A few items I question and think there could have been more effort but it isn’t bad. It’s a fun and cute was to help teach initial word sounds and matching them to their corresponding letter. I wish it was a bit bigger but everything does fit. Not all item colors make sense but all colors are bright and vivid. Cute idea.

Wow this is a sure way to teach letters and sounds while playing a game! My kiddos always loved What’s in Ned’s Head” and this is so similar but way better. I ordered the 52 piece set and for sure it will hold the interest. The toys are a nice size and kept my 3, and 5 year old entertained

Nice activity for pre-schoolers. Comes with 26 figures corresponding to letter of alphabet. Size varies but, generally proportional to alphabet character space (3 1/2” dia.). Only complaint is the whistle. It has a pellet inside that could be a choking hazard. Will swap out with something else beginning with “W”. Also, changing other figures to preference. Recommends but, needs monitoring for smaller children.

My students love playing. They are doing well understanding how to play and what is the beginning sound.
